All throughout the class period I was constantly being poked or distracted by the boy sitting next to me, when Mr. Roberts said that things would be difficult I didn't really believe him, but trust me I do now. It took everything in me to pay attention and at times I could even see my teacher glancing at us with a worried expression. I try to give him a look that says "I'm okay" but he still looks worried. By the end of the class period, my annoyance level is through the roof but I'm too shy to say anything of it. The bell rings and I quickly dart out of the room, making my way to my locker to drop of my things, because I have study hall and I don't need anything except my camera because I normally take pictures during this class period anyway. I turn and shut my locker, running into someone in the process.
"Woah slow down their darlin, don't want you falling for me quite yet." He smirks and winks, and my face flushes before looking at my toes. I try to say,
"I'm not going to fall for you I hardly know you..." But it comes out as a whisper and I'm sure he doesn't hear it, but I'm wrong. He chuckles and shakes his head,
"It won't be long until you fall for me, everyone does eventually." I roll my eyes before walking past him and he doesn't try to stop me, which is good because I don't know how I would react. I get into the class just as the bell rings and I find my seat before the teacher calls attendance; I stand up and walk to my teacher,
C-Can I l-leave?" She nods at me like she does every day and I walk out. I make my way down the now empty halls and as I scan my eyes over the empty hall I pull my camera up to my face and snap a picture of the deserted hall way. I pull the camera away and a voice speaks causing me to jump,
"Why aren't you in class Leah?" I gasp and turn around slowly, It's the boy from this morning... oh god what was his name...
"You forgot my name didn't you?" I manage to keep my voice clam, and keep my eyes from widening
"What... no of course not" My cheeks start to flame up, and my palms begin to sweat.
"Okay... so then what's my name?" My brain finally turns on and I think back to when I first met him and then it clicks,
"WILL!" I accidently scream. He chuckles and my face turns an even brighter shade of red, "S-Sorry...I didn't mean to yell that at you."
"It's okay Leah, I thought it was cute" He winks at me and I feel my heart flutter just a bit.
"C-cute? I'm not c-cute" He chuckles again and looks away,
"Yeah you are Leah, you're very... cute" and with that he looks me in the eyes winks and walks away, Leaving me to finally be able to breathe.
"What happened to being invisible?" I whisper tomyself.
