With a new addition to our group, but also a loss, we kept going. None of us kew what was going to happen, but I didn't want to know.
BANG. Jonah and I jumped. We looked at eachother, but kept going. I knew another person had lost their life.
We approached a large glass door, and an idea popped into my head.
"We could jump through the glass door! We'd be safe, and away from the school!" I suggested.
"Great idea!" Jonah said.
Without thinking, I jumped through the glass door, but bounced back with a thud. Guess the glass was thicker than I thought. I got up, embaresssed, and hoped Braden wouldn't say anything about it.
"Are you ok?" He asked. "Fine." I replied, obviously not wanting to talk about it.
"Alright..."
That was no longer an option. Well, better find another way.
