The next day at school, Suha again rolled herself towards her class. She was just about to enter when she heard a click and looked around, only to see a few girls giggling as they looked at their phone, having snapped a picture of the temporarily disabled girl. She had hated getting her photos clicked without consent, and now that she was in a wheelchair, she felt even more uncomfortable. Flashbacks from when she was a kid, helpless and forced to tolerate it all as she'd clung to her father played in her mind again and all of a sudden, she was seven and being ambushed by paparazzi when all she wanted was some ice cream.

"Yah! Delete that!" The voice of her best friend reached Suha's ear before the girl did herself. Suha watched as Lisa stormed up to the, presumably younger, girls and snatched their phone "You shouldn't take pictures of people unknowingly!" She scolded "How would you feel huh if I keep my phone all up in your face and click pictures of everything you do?"

"Sorry Unnie." The girls apologised but it wasn't genuine and Lisa wasn't satisfied. She grabbed both the girls by their ear and dragged them over to where Suha was, flustered "Apologise." Lisa forced the girls to bend a little and they screamed in pain when their ear got folded even more "Apologise  you fuckers." Lisa shouted again "We're sorry! We won't do it again." Lisa looked at Suha who nodded with a small smile. The taller girl let go of the two and pushed them away "Now return to your class." The girls glared at Lisa but didn't say anything and walked away.

Suha turned to her friend and smiled wide "Thank you so much." The tension from her body disappeared and her eyes were back to their warm ones, the flashback fading away at the comfort Lisa radiated.

"Of course. No one deserves to get treated that way." Lisa grabbed the handle of the wheelchair "Let's get to class now."

Soon, lunch rolled around and this time, it was Ji Ho who pushed the wheelchair as everyone walked around Suha, discussing about their lectures. It was almost fun for Suha's friends, helping her get around since they said it made them feel superior to a lot of students and honestly, she didn't mind. Their presence made her forget the whispers and it was so much easier to ignore the stares. They whipped her away with their words and she gladly tpok the escape.

Getting their lunches, the group sat around at a table and ate together in silence until suddenly, Mun Hee spoke up "Suha, Jin Seo, so what did you guys do yesterday?" She asked with a suggestive smile "Homework." The duo answered together. "Together." Lisa completed for them and the two girls burst our giggling "Wait what?" Ji Ho asked, confused "Suha and Jun Seo completed their homeworks together yesterday."

"Okay and?"

"They were at her house. Alone."

"So?" Lisa groaned when JiHo didn't understand what the girls were hinting at "Never mind. You leave it." The boy was still confused, his head tilting in the slightest as he tried to peace it together. Lisa ignored JiHo and turned to the Suha and JunSeo "I can't believe Suho Oopa allowed you two to be alone together after school." It was just childish teasing among friends but that didn't make it any less true. Suho practically never allowed Suha to be alone with anyone, be it a guy or girl. He didn't trust anyone. "Yeah how did you convince him?" Mun Hee asked, curious.

"About that..." Suha trailed off and all her friends gasped "You didn't tell him?" Both the girls gasped out together, in sync and their tone slightly accusatory causing Suha to shield her face with her hands so that she could hide her embarrassment "He would never agree!" She whined, still hiding "And maybe for good reasons babe." Lisa sympathised "As much as we hate that he's overprotective, he has every right to be. After everything..." She trailed off, not really wanting to upset the girl. "I know." Suha didn't have anything more to say and she didn't think she could. A heavy tension fell over the group and JiHo spoke up, his head still tilted "I still don't know why we're talking about this."

After school finally ended, Suha got in the car and greeted Mr.Choi "Can you take me to the mall today? My sunscreen finished and I need to get a new one."

"We can just send someone to get it." Mr.Choi suggested "They won't be able to get the right one and I recently switched. Please Mr.Choi. To the mall please." The older man sighed but started in that direction. Suha had always faced acne problems since she was young, having an oily skin that created a lot of pimples for her. It was one of the main reasons she was bullied- her skin. With her acne outbreaks and a few spots on her face, she wasn't pretty anymore. Over time, she had found a few ways to keep her skin healthier and prevent it from out breaking but they could also do only so much.

It didn't help that she used to be in the spotlight so much. That was always an additional stress. Suho had made it clear he didn't want to do anything with their father's lavish life and over out, avoiding the paparazzi by making them forget all about him. Suha on the other hand, had made the mistake of thinking she would be okay with it all. She knew she could never truly get rid of them, she had learned it the hard way after her mother's funeral. It wasn't until after what happened with SeYeon that her father got Suha a restraining order against the paparazzi. Another reason why she didn't like her pictures being clicked unknowingly. The restraint order It had helped her life a lot and made it easier.

"We're here." Mr.Choi informed her, breaking the girl out of her thoughts. "Thanks Mr.Choi. I'll be back soon." She promised the old man and got out. Getting in the wheelchair, she took the elevator up to the third floor and got out, rolling herself to a beauty store. "Hello. How can I help you?" The employee asked. "I'll take a sunscreen please. SPF 50 preferable." The attendant showed Suha a few options but the girl shook her head "I have an acne prone skin. Can you recommend me a few other ones?" The attendant did as she was asked and presented a few new brands. Finally Suha found the one she liked and ordered two of her usuals and one of the new ones the attendant had shown "I'll also take a blush please." She chose the shade and the attendant walked away, claiming to be back with the bill soon.

As Suha was exploring in her wheelchair, she felt herself hit something and her eyes widened in panic as she looked up "Oh my god I'm so sorry. Are you okay?" Her words halted as she stared at the girl. Long brown hair, smooth pale face and a height Suha felt jealous of. Something caught Suha's eye and she gasped when she saw Saebom High School's uniform. The girl didn't pay her much attention and just ran away, leaving Suha completely back staggered and confused "What just happened?" She whispered to herself. Shrugging, she proceeded to walk towards the counter where she would pay for her products.

Swiping her card, Suha grabbed the bag from the counter and settled it on her lap. Just as she grabbed the wheels of the wheelchair, the familiar voice filled her ears "Ah look. It's little distressed Suha." Her back stiffened and fear filled her body. Park Se Mi was not supposed to be here and she was not supposed to see Suha at all. The girl was already harmed and Park SeMi would ruin the progress she had made. The fear made Suha's hands shake and she failed at making herself appear unbothered.

"Aw. She ended up in a wheelchair this time." Random bruises, scratches, wounds were an everyday occurence when you had a bully. Sae Mi leaned down to the brunette's height and grabbed the back of her head, pulling her hair. Suha winced but didn't say anything. Speaking always made it worse "Be thankful that's all that happened this time ugly face. Next time you stop me, I will make sure you can't leave." Park Sae Mi stood back up and grabbed the bag that held her makeup products "You'll always be a fat, ugly bitch. Accept it." Then, she proceeded to throw the plastic bag on the ground and walked away.

With tears in her eyes, Suha bent down to pick up the bag but sighed in frustration when her sitting legs and her tummy fat didn't allow her to. Her tears became uncontrollable and with shaky hands, Suha straightened herself before she gripped the wheels once again and exited the mall.

Hold on Suha, let yourself reach home first, she kept repeating in her mind. Breaking down in public was not very ideal.

She reached the car quickly where Mr. Choi was waiting and he didn't question when he saw her state. He knew, he always did. He helped her sit in the car and then silently, drove out of the parking lot.

"I want you to be happy, my son." His mother patted his head. Little did the woman know, the girl whose heart her son had broken was also the one that made him truly happy. And he was going to do whatever it took to feel that happiness again.
