I've been putting lots of time in....~

I sang out lightly and quietly, so Anna and Bryson won't wake up. Then I can feel my mate cuddling up to me and I smile with love.

"Valerie, love. You don't have to be awake yet. You can go back to sleep." Emmett says into my ear husky.

I smile before turning my face to look up at him.
"Morning Emmett. I hope you don't mind me staying, while Valerie is still sleeping."

He looks taken aback a bit before he gets a loved smile on his face.
"Not at all Alina."

Then he kisses my forehead, but getting up from our shared bed. I growl in approval from seeing his jacked up back, and I bite my lip not wanting for the little ones to listen.

So with a heavy heart at that moment, I sit up from the bed and get dressed.

At that moment, I can hear little Bryson start to cry. I walk to his nursery, and I gently pick him up. I hold him close to Valerie/my chest to give him comfort that his mother is holding him.

"Don't cry Bryson. Momma is right here." I softly coo at him. I gently rock him back and forth to calm him down.

Soon he settles out, and I hum to him as I walk over to Anna's room. I softly knock on the door, before hearing a tiny voice saying enter.

I open the door to see a little tired Anna, with a bad case of bed hair. I give her a gently smile but sitting next to her on her bed.

"Morning Anna. How did you sleep?" I asked her putting my hand on her cheek.

She looks into my pure purple eyes before smiling up at me.
"Morning Alina. I slept good."

"That is good to hear. How about I make some pancakes?" I ask her gently bouncing Bryson on my leg.

After getting Anna dressed, all three of us head downstairs towards the kitchen. I quickly make up a bottle for Bryson, then I lay him down across my right arm. While flipping over pancakes for Anna.

"Daddy!" Anna yells in excitement running with her arms out.

Emmett grins in happiness and picks up Anna, before settling her down in her seat.

I put down her plate of buttery pancakes down in front of her with my one hand. Emmett looks up to me, before walking up behind me wrapping his arms around my waist.

I am then pushed up against his chest, which makes me want to growl but I hold back.

"Careful mate. I have Bryson in my arms, and I don't think you want Anna to see us like that, do you?" I tell him as I feel him place a kiss on my neck.

I can feel him chuckle against my back towards my threat.
"That is true, besides I still think Valerie needs to sleep yet."

"Yeah, with the way she looked and felt. I won't be surprised if she slept all day, she deserves it after all. So I will be here all day if I have to." I tell him worrying for Valerie.

When we changed over and even before that I could feel Valerie's tiredness. So I decided that I will be here all day, so Valerie can sleep.

~Two hours later~

"Do you think Anna should be out there with them?" Seth asked me while looking out of the window.

Bella, Edward, Kate, Emmett, Alistair, and Anna are outside testing out Bella's new power. Everyone discovered her power while talking to Kate Denali.

"She is fine, Seth. If she wasn't. Don't you think Emmett would have her stay inside with us? Besides I know Emmett won't let anything harm Anna in anyway." I tell Seth while looking over at him with a smile on my face.

He looks over my face a bit,
"I still can't get over how weird your eyes are. Alina, right?"

I had to tell Seth that I am the Faey part of Valerie, and that I am very protective of my family. He understood completely and even introduced himself, which I stopped him.

Since I know everyone already from Valerie's memories.

"Yes. Plus don't worry about remembering names. Valerie doesn't care." I tell him with a smile on my face.

A few minutes later, everyone enters the house impressed from Bella's control over her gift.

I am sitting next to Rosalie on the couch, while Reneesme is holding Bryson carefully. Both Rosalie and I smile at the cousins loving up each other.

"Momma...I'm tired." Anna tells me as she cuddles up to me on my lap. I wrap my arms around her and I hum a little song letting her relax in my arms.

Not soon after humming, Anna is softly snoring in my arms. I lightly giggle at her snoring.

That night, we all have agreed to meet the Volturi head on. So we wait til the snow sticks.

But first Christmas.
