~The day Jacob comes over~

I was sitting next to Bella, keeping her warm. I can warm my body temperature up like the shape shifters. Bella is looking worst as the days go by. Her hair is looking dull, and her face is sunken in. Her eyes are tired looking, I just feel so sad for her.

Edward has not been anywhere near her, since they came back from their honeymoon. I can't say the same between Emmett and I.

We had a big fight yesterday, and I am not going anywhere near him for the time being.

It went like this:

"Valerie, babe. Why are you supporting Bella's decision?" Emmett asked me.

"Because Emmett, I am a type of person that believe babies should have the right to live. That's why." I tell him.

Then he gets mad, "Valerie! Are you even listening to yourself! Bella is going to die! You need to accept that the baby is killing her!"

"I know Emmett, but what would you do if I was in Bella's shoes with your child!" I yelled back.

Then It went badly after that.

I hear a motorcycle coming down the driveway, already knowing it is Jacob Black.

Carlisle goes down to meet him, then he walks up the stairs. I stand up from the couch, and I stand next to Rose.

Jacob looks at Rose before his eyes travel up to me.
"Who are you?"

I smirk at him, "The name is Valerie."

"I'm glad you came." Bella says behind me.

Jacob slowly walks up to Bella, but before he can get close Rosalie steps in.
"That's close enough."

Jacob looks right at her, "What's your problem."

"Rose, it's okay." Bella replies.

Rose backs off, and let's Jacob through. I just stand off to the side, and I just watch.

"So, Are you going to tell me what's wrong with you?" Jacob asked.

Bella hesitates, "Rose, Val. Do you want to help me up?"

I hold out my hand, as Bella stands up off the couch. Rose helps pull down her shirt, then Jacob changes his attitude instantly.

He looks over at Edward, "You! You did this!"

He marched over to Edward, but Emmett holds him back with one arm.

"We did not know, it was possible." Carlisle tells him.

"What is it?" Jacob asked angry.

"We don't know, nothing can poke through the sack. We searched legends upon legends, it came up with nothing. All we know that is fast growing." Carlisle tells him calmly.

"Why have you done nothing! Take it out of her!"

"This is none of your business, dog!" Rose replies to Jacob.

"Rose! All this fighting is not good for Bella." Esme joins in.

"The fetus! Isn't good for Bella!" Alice says in disgusted.

My eyes widen, and I knew I heard enough of this. I look over at Bella with tears in my eyes, she looks at me worried.

"Valerie, you okay?" She asked.

Everyone stops their argument, and looks at me. I wrap my arms around my shoulders, and I quickly run out of the house.

I got a good feet away from the house, and I let out the tears. I put my hands on top of my stomach, that is keeping my child alive.

"I promise my child, you are not an evil thing. You are precious to me, I swear onto the Faey Gods. You are not leaving me, just because someone says so." I whispered to my child.

After what Alice said, I just couldn't face them again. So I just sat down in front of a tree by the house. A little while later, Edward comes out of the house, with Jacob in tow.

Edward walks over after talking to Jacob.
"Are you okay, Valerie?"

I shake my head no, Edward sits next to me and wraps an arm around my shoulder.

"I'm sorry that Alice said that, but I hope you know she did not mean it to upset you. She just said it to help Bella decide." Edward tells me.

I smile lightly at him, "Thanks Edward."

"Here, I think Bella wants to see you. How about you tell her, your secret. I think she will feel comfort by it, cause she is not the only one that is you know." Edward tells me as he helps me stand up.

"Alright, I will head up there. Thank you Edward." I say thanking him.

I enter the house, and I walk up the flight of stairs. As I was about to enter the living room, Jacob rushes out fuming in anger.

So I walk over to Bella, "Hey girl, want some company?"

Bella looks up at me with a smile, "Yeah, but why did you leave earlier? Emmett is very worried about you."

"Well, I will tell you but you must promise me that you won't tell anyone. Well, besides Rose." I tell her.

"What about me?" Rose asked as she enters the room.

"Okay, I promise." She says getting excited.

"I am pregnant with Emmett's child. The reason I left earlier was because of the way Alice said that the fetus isn't good for you." I tell them both.

Both Bella's and Rosalie's eyes widen, and it is silent for a few minutes before Bella says something.

"Your pregnant, too?" She asked to which I nod.

She gets a smile on her face, and she holds her arms out for a hug. So I give her a hug, and Rose joins in.

~That night~

Everyone was in the living room, including Jacob. Emmett, Jasper, Lane, and Alice were watching a baseball game. Emmett is still not talking to me, yet.

I am sitting in front of Bella, and I am holding her hand. Bella is shivering from the cold, she has a sweater on and a blanket on.

"Are you cold, Bella?" I asked her. She nods her head.

"I got it." Jacob says as he climbs over to Bella. Then he warms her up, I smile at them.

As I look over at Emmett, his eyes are on the tv. Then as I look away, I felt my child moved inside of me.

I almost put my hands on my stomach, but I decided against it. My attention got sidetracked as Bella sits up from her position and looks like she is going to throw up.

"Is there something we can do to get food in her?" I asked looking at Carlisle.

"Valerie, Are you okay? You look pale." Edward says to me.

Carlisle walks over to me, and puts his hand on my forehead.
"Guys, I'm fine."

"Valerie, I think it is time you tell them." Rose tells me.

"Tell us what?" Alice asked.

I take in a deep breath, "First thing, I want to say this. Emmett, I'm so sorry we fought that day. I miss talking to you, so I hope you can forgive me."

Emmett looks over at me, before he gets up off of the couch. Then he walks over to me, and kisses my lips.
"I'm sorry too, babe. I forgive you Valerie, now what were you saying."

"Guys, I am pregnant with your child Emmett." I say looking straight into Emmett's eyes.
