The last time of the story is that Grace was shocked hearing Gerard saying "i love you" to Maria. How did Grace reacted to the situation knowing that Gerard and Grace are in good terms?
In the middle of the night, noisy sounds of crickets, moon that shines so bright and the quiet background inside the car Grace was totally confused when she heared Gerard saying those words to Maria. Grace asked Gerard (in a joke manner) what about her if he loves her too or not. They all laughed at her for she was been caught by everyone that Grace likes Gerard too. Gerard and Maria are just good friends and Gerard used to call Maria "mommy" and he is the son of Maria. During those times Grace was so shy and blushing for what she has said. She don't know what to do and what to act for she was been caught by everyone. She was so speechless all those times but by the time the car is out of the subdivision of Joy: Gerard hold Grace hand and said "May i court you?". The fear and shyness that Grace felt went deeper and deeper. When Grace arrives home Gerard kissed her on her head and said goodnight.
(The next day, at school)
Someone called Grace name and she do not know the person calling. She looks confused in a manner knowing that someone knows her but she does not know them. When the group of girls tried to go next to her they were all asking if she is Grace. She answered yes and ask why. They look so happy and excited to meet her for they are Gerard's classmates. They said to her that finally they met Grace the girl whom Gerard is courting. Grace was so shocked that everyone inside the room of Gerard knows her. They talked to her, ask many questions and they treat her nicely.
Gerard used to bring Grace her lunch and dinner for she does not want Grace to be hungry. But Grace cannot finish all of the food so she used to call Dominique in helping her eat the lunch being bought by Gerard. It was a very nice day for all of them. Everybody are in good terms and making good friends. It is nice that the group of Grace and Gerard became good friends and they used to bond with one another.
(Sunday night)
After the mass everyone tried to make a joke of eating at Grace's house. So Grace contacted her mom to cook for food for she will be bringing maybe 5 or 6 of her friends. By the time they arrived home Grace family treated them nicely and with hospitality. While eating a conversation popped out saying that Gerard likes Grace. All of the gang forced him to talked to Grace parents about liking their daughter. At first Gerard do not know what to say but he tried his best. He is sweating and shaking his hands while talking to Grace mom. He said that if they would allow him to court their daughter and he wants to know them better. Grace mom was so happy and smiling for it is the first time that a guy went to their house to court their daughter. Grace mom agreed but she said that they need to know more with each other. the whole gang were screaming and shouting for Gerard is shaking and do not know what to do. According to the group it was his first time to court a girl's parents for before he never did try to look at girls.
Gerard's life before is very different even though girls keep on running after him still he does not know what they are aftering to him.
Everyday they make the best of it. They try to keep track with each other and know even more with each family background. Day by day, they became closer and closer. The complete opposite seems to be falling with one another. They learned to love each one's company and everyday they learn to fall inlove together. As the road is gatting nearer it is harder yet they have overpassed it. Gerard is trying to learn from his past mistakes and try to learn new things. It was an inspiration for him that he have met Grace.
They found love with each others arms. They realize that complete opposite is never a hindrance when loving. Gerard courted Grace for almost 3 months and now they are living happily together. Well it does not mean that if he is a rebel and she is loud their world would never clash yet God has its own plan. =)
