"Young lady you better get up right this second or you're going to be late.. again! Don't make me go up there cause I think we all already know that will make sure you get out of that bed however way necessary", Mrs.Johnson's voice echoed from down the stairs.

My eyes shot right open and I cringed at the blinding ray of light that came in through the gaps between the blinds.

"Alright, alright I'm up!", my voice thick with sleep. My mom may be pretty nice but once you tick her off, god I don't think i even want to go there. I stretched my arms and yawned before finally deciding to take a much needed shower. I entered the bathroom and shot a look of disgust toward the person in the mirror. Wait, oh that's just me.

Honestly, I do not get how people in fairytales and movies wake up from their slumber all beautiful and cheerful then there's me who looks like a huge hot mess.Okay maybe not hot. Yeap definitely without the hot. I striped myself of my pjs and stepped into the shower, letting the rather comforting water run down my body.

Finally after felt clean enough, I quickly dried myself and threw on a maroon crop top and paired it with a pair of light denim jeans. Satisfied with how I look, I walked down, the smell of coffee wafted into my nose. I glanced at the antique clock that hung on the wall which told me I had 30 minutes to first period. "Shit" I cursed under my breath.

Swiftly enough, I grabbed a muesli bar off the counter and told my mom I'll be back later than usual cause I'll be hanging out at the mall with Claire after school. I slid on my red converse and prayed that I will not trip on the untied laces. I sped walked all the way to school which was around 20 minutes away. I also made it there safely by the way.

By the time I reached, I was panting hard and my hair was all over the place. I decided to finish my muesli bar while walking earlier just now. I reached back into my backpack and pulled out a black hairtie. I quickly gathered my hair into a messy bun and hoped that I didn't miss a strand because that happens to me occasionally. With one last sprint, I made it thorough the gates and walked down the hallways which had students rushing into class.

Thanks to my petite frame, I managed to squeeze through the crowd and made it into Geography class. I sat down at my usual desk beside the window and watched as Ms.Anne walked in. Without delay, " open your books to page 203." Boy, this is going to be one long day.
