Jaehyun x Taeyong 🖤🔞

"Friends forever"
Taeyong and Jaehyun were friends forever. Well, that's what Taeyong thought. The phrase "best friends forever" was a complete lie.

"Jaehyunnie!" Little 8 year old Taeyong runs across the playground with a rose in his hand. He sits in the sand with Jaehyun and offers him the rose,"Here!" Jaehyun grins as he takes the rose.

Jaehyun shows Taeyong what he was up to. In the sand he drew a heart and their names, 'Jaehyunnie + Taeyongie forever' inside.

Taeyong's mom coos as she finds it so endearing. "Boys, pose for a picture!" She says as she takes out her phone. The two boys put their arms around each other and smile as Taeyong's mom takes the photo.

"So cute!"

4 years later. . .

"Stop! Stop chasing me with that thing!" Taeyong screams as Jaehyun chases him through the flower field with a bug.

"Ok! I'm done!" Jaehyun drops the bug, allowing Taeyong to catch his breath. He smirks, confusing Taeyong. "What is it-" Out of nowhere, Jaehyun tackles Taeyong to the floor.

"Jaehyun! Get off me!" Taeyong whines but it quickly turns to giggles as Jaehyun tickles. Taeyong tickles him back. They roll on the ground, tickling each other till one of them gave up.

Jaehyun rolls off of Taeyong. They lay on the ground together, staring up at the night sky. "We should go home. Mom might be worried." Jaehyun says but Taeyong shakes his head.

Taeyong points at a star in the sky. "That's my favorite star." He says. Jaehyun raises an eyebrow, "It looks like the other stars."

Taeyong shakes his head, "No. That one is special." Jaehyun doesn't understand but he doesn't questions further.

He takes Taeyong's hand and intertwines them as they stare at the sky.

2 years later. . .
It was raining, pouring, and Taeyong was drenched in rain. Tears roll down his cheeks as he watches Jaehyun leave him with his new friends.

He needed to see Jaehyun for comfort, to talk about his parents divorcing but Jaehyun cursed him out and beat him to the ground.

Jaehyun broke their friendship.

Taeyong gets up from the floor. He leaves the park and walks all the way back home, limping and cold.

PRESENT DAY. . .
Taeyong finishes up washing his hands. He dries his hands on his sides but just as he's about to leave, Jaehyun and his friend group come in the bathroom. It makes Taeyong's stomach turn inside out.

"Good morning!" Johnny, the tall one greets him with a smile. Taeyong knew them all very well. Johnny, Yuta, Kun, Hendery, and of course Jaehyun.

"What do you want?" Taeyong murmurs but Johnny grabs Taeyong's face, pressing his cheeks together. "Now, that's no way to talk to your hyung. Apologize." He says.
