hey again

I sat at my desk tapping my pencil. 5 minutes until lunch. Then I can see him. Connor. 4 minutes.

"Mamm" I snapped out of my thoughts and to the women in front of me. "Sorry to disturb I was wondering if I could try this on." She asked holding up a pair of shorts with rhinestone packets.

"Of course I'm so sorry about that." I led her to the changing room and headed back to my desk. 2 minutes. I continued tapping my pencil. I just wanted to get out of this office. 1 minute. I started cleaning off my desk and packing my bag.

Finally the clock ticked and I shot up out of my seat. I helped the women check out and headed out. My heels clicked as I stepped into the parlor. I looked around Connor wasn't there yet.

I took a seat and waited for him. 15 minutes later he walked in. He was in a white t-shirt that made his muscles look defined. My breath hitched as he walked towards me.

"Hey sorry I'm late. Work was crazy." He said taking a seat. I couldn't help myself from staring at his mescles.
" it's fine" I said making eye contact and smiling.

We sat and talked for what felt like only a few minutes until I got a call.
"Hello" I said into my cell phone
"Mia where are you? You know you own a store right and people want to shop." Candace yelled into my ear.

I looked at the wall clock. 2:00. I had been here for two hours.

I hung up my phone and started panicking and collecting. " I'm so sorry I have to get back to work." I said running out of the parlor. I started running down the street but that's kind of hard to do high heels. I quickly took off each shoe and hung them over my fingure.

I opened the door to my shop and got everything set up. It was already 2:30. Suddenly the store was flooded with people. I was busy checking everything and making sure everything is ok. I didn't notice it was 11:00.

The last costomer bought his stuff and left. I locked the door and went back to my computer. I flopped into my spinny chair and stared at my computers. I lost so much money from not working and leaving early.

I was having a hard time paying for my bills. I decided to just leave work and go take a nice relaxing bath. I stepped into my apartment. I just needed ice cream. I spooned myself some ice cream and drew myself a hot bath. I stripped out of my clothes and into the warm tub.

Instantly all my stress was gone. I sunk into the water as my mind drifted off.

Knock knock knock

"Kill me" I muttered to myself. I quickly got out of the warm soothing water. I wrapped a bright pink towel around me and headed to the door. I walked to my front door.

I opened it making sure to keep my body hidden by the door. "Hello." I said opening it.

"Hey mia I-
Connor stopped talking and gave me the look over. I turned around and walked back to the bathroom Connor trailing behind me.

" what are you doing?" He asked
"What does it look like I'm saving the world" I spit back sarcasticly.

"Ok sorry" he replied. "Want to watch a movie?" He offered taking a seat on the couch.

"Um I guess let me go get dressed first." I walked back into the bathroom and drained the water. I through on some black leggings and an over sized t-shirt. I didn't feel like looking nice. I put on my thick black glasses and left the bathroom.

Connor had made us hot chocolate and put some blankets on the couch. And there was a lot of them. Like I mean every blanket I owned from throw blankets to comforters.

"Why do we need all these blankets?" I asked tilting my head to the side.

"You seemed stressed so I decided we are making a blanket fort." He said tossing me a blanket.

We spent 20minutes making a huge castle out of blankets and pillows and my fabric. We sat down to watch a movie and I slowly found myself in a deep sleep.

Sorry this is such a short chapter I have been having writers block and I finally felt like I could write something I have a plan and idea but I just don't think I am ready to put it in the book yet .love y'all
