CHAPTER ONE: Mo Xuanyu
[YN] laid on a rock, watching the sunset. He didn't know how many hours he had been lying down but he was definitely hungry. His stomach growled, loud enough that if someone was with him, he'd cry in embarassment.
He sighed and stood up, he began to walk and took the apple he saw on the tree. He walked to the river and dipped the apple, when he knew that the apple was clean, he took a bite of it.
When he was done with the apple, the sun had set. He walked down to the village where he lived, he wanted to rest even though he hadn't done anything all day.
He reached the front of his door and he opened it, he went inside and closed the door. He lay down on his bed and turned off the candle light, he just wants the day to end. After all, tomorrow is his long awaited day.
Tomorrow has begun and the sun has risen, [YN] woke up early but he still doesn't feel like getting up yet. After a few minutes of laziness, he sat up and placed his feet on the floor, stood up and tied his hair. His hair was long and had a [HC] shade on its tip.
"Brother Shin, good morning. Are you going to the Mo village?" Ying'er asked.
"Yes, please take care of the house for me." [YN] said as he pat her head.
"Let me put on your coat for you." Ying'er said, she took his coat from the chair and helped him wear it. She took the ribbon and wrapped it on his waist, tightening it and tangled it together.
"Thanks Ying'er, see you!" [YN] smiled, he walked out and let the cold morning breeze hit his face. He walked his way to the Mo village and when he finally reached it, a few familiar of his greeted him, some even offered him goods and foods in which he turned down kindly.
'Sure this is the place where the Yiling Patriarch soul was reincarnated, well.. close.' [YN] smirked, his thoughts was cut off when a donkey ran fast towards him, he barely noticed it that he almost got hit.
'Oh great heavens, thank you for not letting me die in a stupid way.' [YN] thinks.
'If i die, I better die pretty.' [YN] mentally said and started walking to the Madam Mo's house, the walk took 10 or more minutes although when he reached it, the front was crowded. [YN] could hear the yelling from the inside and a rather familiar voice. He excused himself to move on the front and finally saw a good view of what is happening.
"HOW HEARTLESS!" Mo Xuanyu said and pointed at Ziyuan. The said brat was furious and his fist were clenched tightly, ready to beat up Mo Xuanyu.
"You see.. This is my younger sister's son, his head isn't so bright. Everyone from the Mo village knows his words shouldn't be taken seriously..." Madam mo said but Mo Xuanyu opposed.
"Who said my words shouldn't be taken seriously?! Next time you steal something from me again, I will cut off one of your arms." Mo Xuanyu said, making the brat even more furious. He stuttered when he opened his mouth to speak, acting in rage, he only managed to curse him.
"YOU BASTARD!"
"Fool! Bleh!" Mo Xuanyu said as he made a funny face to annoy him more.
"Then we will borrow the west courtyard for the night. Please remember, after nightfall, close all the windows, do not go outside and do not go to the courtyard either." Lan Sizhui reminded, Madam Mo nodded until her son spoke out of anger again. He sighed and looked at the crowd, he no longer spotted Mo Xuanyu but a guy with black and [HC] hair waving and smiling at him. Lan Sizhui bowed his head, he couldn't help but feel a little flustered, he literally just faced a beauty just now.
[YN] then walked away and decided to look for Mo Xuanyu, after a few minutes of searching, he spotted him by the courtyard roof. [YN] smirked, he finally found the person he have longed for. There he was, reflecting the correct way to use the Spirit-Lure Flag.
"This is not somewhere a person like you should come, go back." Lan Jingyi said though Mo Xuanyu disobeyed and took one of the flags from its formation.
"You must not!" Lan Jingyi chased but Mo Xuanyu was acting like a baby wanting to buy a new toy. Still, that didn't stop the small quarrel of the two.
"Jingyi, calm down. Don't make a fuss and just take the flag back." Lan Sizhui said.
"Sizhui, I didn't hit him! Look, he just messed up the whole flag formation!" Lan Jingyi said as he pointed at Mo Xuanyu who was sitting on the ground and checking the painting on the flag.
"Young Master Mo, it is getting dark, you should go inside. We will start capturing the walking corpses and it is dangerous for you to stay outside." Lan Sizhui said. Mo Xuanyu stood up and gave him the flag.
"Hmph, what a dumb flag, I can draw better than you guys!" Mo Xuanyu said and jumped up the roof.
"What a lunatic!" Lan Jingyi said, some of their members murmured a few words and Lan Sizhui shut them off. He sighed and noticed the figure that stood in front of them.
"Mister, please go inside your room too." Sizhui said, it was the same person as earlier.
"Sorry to interrupt but if you don't mind, may i put these hairpins on you two?" [YN] asked, his voice was gentle and calm.
"Hairpins? Sure!" Jingyi immediately agreed and Lan Sizhui did too.
"Then please turn around." The two did as they are instructed and [YN] placed the hairpins in their ponytails.
"They look pretty." Jingyi said and [YN] bowed before saying his good bye.
"Let's get started, it's getting late." Lan Sizhui said and the rest nodded.
"Thankfully he didn't took off the headband." Lan Sizhui said as he let out the breath he didn't know he had been holding.
[YN] on the other hand had casted a protection spell on the hairpins, he didn't have enough for the rest but he's sure they'll find a way to protect each other. Though, that is something he should be worrying about right now.
"Where the hell am i supposed to go?"
