"What did your dad need," Derek asked.

"To inform me about the mess Bella got herself into," was my response.

"Oh," he said before reaching out and rubbing my arm. "What did she do now?"

"Got pregnant," I said.

He stopped and looked up at me. He knew what her personality was like. He had gotten the pleasure to meet her when I was talking on the phone to mom and her one day and knew the chance of her raising a child was slim.

"What does this mean," he said. " I'm assuming that nobody wants the child or to give them up."

"My dad wants me to take her in," I informed him. "He told me to take some time and think it over. Bella is going to join him afterwards, around January."

"Are you going to," he asked me.

"I don't even know." was my response. "There's a lot of facts that need to be addressed before I agree to anything."

"Well whatever you decide I know it'll be the correct choice for everyone. Whether that be you being the child's mother or her aunt. You'll do awesome." he told me, pulling me close to let me know that he's here for me if I want to talk. We fell asleep in that embrace and stayed that way for several hours.

A few days had passed and after another night of discussing what to do about the Bella thing. All of a sudden my phone lit up. It was dad, I hadn't talked to him since he dropped the bomb about Bella and that was around a month ago. I picked up imminently because he never calls this late at night.

"Hello" Derek said as he answered the phone on the stand next to him before putting the phone on speaker.

"Derek," my father said, the anxiety dripping in his voice. I could hear the boys upstairs moving around. "Is Y/n there. I need to tell you something. It's about..."

For some dumb reason the man paused IN THE MIDDLE OF HIS SENTENCE.

"Dad?" I asked, worried about what this phone call could be. I saw out of the corner of my eye the 3 boys that had stayed the night moving around. Issac, Scott, and Stiles all moved to sit around Derek and I to listen in. I could see Derek shooting them a glare but I didn't pay any attention to their antics. I waited for my father to answer. I could hear moving in the background.

"Your Dad ran upstairs to grab his bag." I heard except it wasn't my dad it was Billy.

"Uncle Billy," I said. "Is everything okay? Why does dad need his bag?"

"Bella," he hesitated for a second. "Well, she went into labor earlier than expected. He wanted to inform you in case you made a decision. I know it's a couple months sooner than expected but if you and your boy decided now's the time to step up."

Derek and I looked at each other having a silent conversation with our eyes. Billy's voice dragged us out of the conversation "Well kids, are you ready to have a baby."

We looked towards each other and already knew the answer. I took a deep breath and...

"Yes" I squeaked out. Derek had already jumped up and sent the boys to go get ready so we could drop off Scott and Stiles. Issac was coming along with. They packed our bags while I stayed on the phone with my uncle to get all the information I could before getting off to book a flight.

Derek drove the group of us to Argents house after Scott had called Alli to come get them. Instead he had gotten Argent, a very mad one I might add but I would be too if my daughter was getting a call from a boy at 3 in the morning, who after learning of our predicament had told us to just drive both boys over and he would watch them for the night. He would then follow in his car with one of the boys. probably stiles, and they would drive argents car back while he dropped our off at the loft. He promised to pick us up with Alli's old car seat which he told us we could have. When we finally left Chris wished us luck and told us not to worry about the situation. He had called in a few favors and had a plan on how to cure the boy but promised to hold off until we were back. The plan required a werewolf but one of them had to be an alpha and we weren't sure if Scott would work and didn't want to take the risk. Then we were off, Derek and I took to the plane before settling in our spot. We basked in the silence around us as we realized what we had gotten ourselves into. This would probably be the last quiet we would have in a while.
