Chp. 9 " Sudden Sickness to a Shocking Surprise"

( hey guys I forgot to write about Ruby's parents. So Mr. Hipps and Valentine became friends with Ruby and she introduced them to her parents. They were scared at first but then realized that they were good. So they let them live in the house but were only allowed to go outside at night.m since nobody was outside around that time. Ok let's get started with the story :)

It's been a few days since Mr. Hopps and Valentine did the "thing".
Valentine was walking around the house until she felt nauseous all of a sudden. She rushed to the bathroom and threw up.
Mr. Hopps heard her and rushed in.

" Valentine!? Are you ok!?" Mr. Hopps asked immediately.
" I-I'm ok Mr. Hopps I-I'm ju-" Valentine threw up again while coughing.

Mr. Hopps picked her up bridal style when she got done.
He layed her on the couch and gave her medicine.

" what's wrong with Valentine?"

Mr. Hopps turned and saw Ruby who had tears going down her cheeks.
Mr. Hopps hugged her.

" I'm going to be ok Ruby. I promise." Valentine said.
Later that day she talked to Ruby's mother and she explained to her that the same symptoms happened when she was PREGNANT with Ruby!

Valentine was shocked. She may just be pregnant!

She gave Valentine a pregnancy test.
She went in the bathroom and tested.

She took a deep breath and looked at the test.
She covered her mouth and had tears in her eyes.
The test was positive.

She was planning on telling Mr. Hopp.

Later that night, she called Mr. Hopps in the living room. He sat on the couch beside her.

" Mr. Hopps there's something I need to tell you." Valentine said.
" well I'm all ears!" Mr. Hopps said cheerful.

She held his hands.
She gave him the test.
He looked at it.

" what is this?" He asked.
" I-Its a pregnancy test." Valentine said.
" w-wait are you?" Mr. Hopps said.
" yes. I'm pregnant." Valentine said.

Mr. Hopps eyes being to fill with tears of joy. He hugged Valentine tightly. She hugged him back.

" This is the happiest day of my life! I love you so much Valentine!" Mr. Hopps said.
" I love you too Mr. Hopps!" Valentine said.
