"What is this?" I dump the duffle bag I found in the washing machine, out on the table.

"Uhm- purses... shoes?" She shrugs.

"Well nigga I know that but why was it in the laundry room?" I sit down across from her.

"I was finna pawn it today. I was just storing it there, yo ass don't ever even wash ion know how you found it." She laughs.

"I was looking for my other white sock. Now why are we hiding things N'laisah?" I ask properly.

"Cuz you would've overreacted." She rolls her eyes.

"I'm not. But who you stole this from?" I look through the jewelry.

"Kim."

"Who?" I scrunch my face up.

"The girl from the club." She blows on her hot oatmeal.

"What all did you do yesterday?" I ask.

"I robbed ole girl and tied her up." She says casually.

"I want you to stop trapping, forreal. Like ion even wantchu at the trap no mo. Shit is getting dangerous and ion wantchu in jail again." I explain.

"Hey granny." I hug my granny as I walk in her house.

"Hey baby. Where you been?" She asks.

"Working." I lie.

"Hm okay. But you gotta come over this Sunday, I'm having a family dinner." She explains.

"I will." I sit at the stool to her kitchen table.

"Oh before I forget." She goes to the linen closet and brings back a bag.

"Here. Yo friend came and visited me." She hands me the bag.

"What friend?" I ask.

"What's that guhl name- Medicine? Nah, Marshmello? No that ain't it to, Propofal? Nah that's what MJ overdosed on. Percocet? No..." She mumbles.

"Ecstasy?" My mouth drops.

"Yea dats ha name. Ecstasy, she a lil cutiepie too." She laughs.

"What? That ain't my friend granny." I hop off the stool.

She looks at me confused and I stare in shock.

She's sick for that. How did she even find my grandma's house.

"Whoever she is, tell her to come to dinner Sunday, the more the merrier." Granny smiles toothlessly.

"Bye granny I'll see you later." I rush out the door.

I sit in the car just cooling off. She den really pissed me off.

"What the hell is in this bag?" I rip through it.

It's a few layers and I break a nail getting through all the plastic bags it's in.

"Oh my God." I look at it in shock.
