It was a bright sunny day with no clouds in the sky how perfect of a day it was, right? Outer was walking home from his shift at a local cafe he bought two coffees, one for him and another for his lover Bird. He was smiling and thinking about greeting his lover with a tight hug he walked through a large crowd of people both monsters and humans, and his attention was caught by a large crowd across the road from where he was so he decided to go and see when all the fuss was about. Once the pedestrian light turned green indicating that he could cross the road, He stepped his foot out onto the road and walked to the other side but was taken back by surprise when he saw lots of ambulances around the scene this time he knew that it was going to be more serious and couldn't decide whether or not he should intervene, not wanting to get into trouble. He was about to turn around until he saw a familiar someone within the crowd, He squinted his eyes to see who it was better and he gasped in shock. It was Bird. He dropped his two coffees and ran into the crowd to see Bird helplessly laying on the ground with numerous broken bones and blood seeping out of his mouth, his injuries were pretty serious, Outer ran by his side "BIRD?! Bird!! Are you okay?! can you hear me??" There was no response from him Outer was overcome with despair as tears started forming in the corners of his eyes. Outer started screaming for Bird to wake up until a bunch of paramedics burst through and into the scene pulling Outer away, Outer struggled a lot not wanting to leave his lover's side but it was too late. They hauled Bird up into a hospital bed and carried him into the ambulance, the only thing Outer could do was stand there and hopelessly watch as they drove away. He burst out sobbing and some people came to comfort him for a little while seeing how much pain he was in.

Later in the hospital, Outer was sitting outside in the Emergency Room awaiting an update on his lover's condition. He thought about all the good time's Bird and he had together, all the laughs, all the sadness, but most of all the love they had for each other and these thoughts made Outer more confident that Bird would be okay. That was until nurses and doctors came rushing into Bird's hospital room and this made Outer panic, even more, he wanted to go inside and see Bird but the nurses stopped him from entering the room so all he could do was struggle and look through the window in the door, he looked around the room until his focus came onto bird. He was limp, he could see doctors trying to revive him desperately, doctors yelling at nurses for more help or equipment but it was too late. Outer watched as his lover's heartbeat flatlined on the heart monitor. Outer felt his world become dark, nothing but darkness. He felt as if he were going to throw up. He wanted to scream and cry but he couldn't, He was overcome with shock, despair and anger. His lover was gone. Bird was gone. Then he felt his vision fade to black and he thought 'why did it have to happen to me?' 

Outer woke up on a hospital bed, turns out he had passed out from shock he saw nurses and doctors surround him and they spoke something along the lines of "I'm sorry..... he...... gone.....help you" he couldn't make out what the people were saying but he knew what had happened, he rested his head in his hands and began to sob again. Maybe not all sunny days are supposed to be happy.
