Slow Dance

Bird and Outer were on a date, but it was just a simple one in their home, just relaxing together on the sofa listening to quiet music on the radio that was placed on the coffee table as the radio was one of those small ones. Outer snuggled into Bird resting his head on the tallers chest as Bird hummed along to the music quietly, just enough that his voice vibrated through his bones.  Outer gently closed his eyes, letting them rest for a brief moment until Bird shuffled around in his seat, he wrapped one of his large black wings around Outer being protective of his love, kissing him on the forehead gently, showing him just how much he loved him. Outer giggled "Awwe..! I love you too birdbrain" He chucked again at the silly nickname, Bird always hated to be called that, it made him blush from embarrassment but he still managed to let out a small chuckle "Heh.. I'm glad." he said melting into the moment, but it was cut short when the music turned off from a possible malfunction, Bird groaned in dissatisfaction as he reached over to the radio hitting it a few times before it turned back on but there was only static, he sighed and switched it to another channel, the song was just starting. It was a rather slow romantic one, then Outer had an idea that popped into his mind "Hey, wanna dance?" Outer asked his love, Bird turned back to him and smiled warmly "Sure love." when he said that both of them stood up going to a wide space in the living room, both of them coming close to each other. Outer gently placed his hand on Bird's shoulder and his other on his waist, Bird placing a hand on Outer's waist and the other under his chest, as the music began to softly chime through the room the two lovers gently swayed each other to the music stepping side to side slowly, spinning every now and then. Both of them smiled looking deeply into one another's eyes, Outer rested himself against Bird as they swayed enjoying the moment as Bird held him close loving his touch. The moment lasted for a while before the song ended although that didn't stop them from staying like that for a little longer before they looked at each other affectionately. "Gosh I love you so much.." Bird said quietly as he lifted up Outer into a cuddle, kissing both of his cheeks, Outer looked at Bird placing a hand on his cheek gently caressing him with his thumb "But I love you moreee~~" Outer said daringly making Bird scoff, playfully rolling his eyes "Yeah whatever you say~" Bird said as he carried Outer back to the couch sitting down with Outer now on his lap. The two lovers snuggling into each other once more before the night took over, the two falling asleep in each others embrace."
