{Alice}

Today was it. The third task. The final task
before this awful tournament is over with.
I assumed because it's the last task, it's also
going to be the hardest. Harry had been a
nervous wreck these past few days coming up
with hundreds of scenarios of what was to come.
Cedric put on a calm front but I could tell he
was scared as well. Speaking of Cedric I need
to go wish him good luck.

I walked down to where the tournament was
being held to find where the champions were.
In a clearing, I found four little tents. Each had the name of one of the champions on the front.

I walked into Cedrics to see him sitting on a cot
with his head in his hands.

"You ok?" I asked.

"Yeah, yeah, I'm fine." He said getting up.

He looked like he hadn't slept in weeks.

"You sure?"

"Just a tad nervous is all."

"You'll do great," I said with a smile. ''Zach's throwing a rager in the Hufflepuff common room for when you win"

His expression brightened. One of the first
things I learned about Cedric was that he
loves a party.

"Come here," I said as I opened my arms for a
hug.

Cedric wrapped his arms around me, in a
tight hug. After a moment we pulled away and
said our goodbyes.

I couldn't help but think something was
ending, but I didn't know what. Probably just
the Tournament.

I saw Cho slip into Cedric's tent after me and I
smiled. I'm glad they got together. They're
good together.

I walked into Harry's tent next.

"Hey, Alice." He said.

"Hi. You ready?"

"Nope, but what choice do I have?"

Poor Harry. He shouldn't have had to compete in this.

"At least it's over after this."

"Yeah." He stayed silent for a moment then
smirked before asking "You know what would
make me feel better?"

I already knew what he was going to say but
I pretended not to.

"Do tell," I said as I walked closer.

"I think you know." He tapped his cheek.

I placed a kiss on his cheek and pulled him into a hug. "Good luck," I said against his shoulder before I pulled away and walked out of the tent.
