After what felt like hours of roaming through the village, I found a torch! Thank goodness.

(I sprint back to the house, even tho the pain in my leg was unbearable)

*Oh come on!*
*Where the hell are my keys?!?*
(I search through my pockets, realizing one was ripped)
*Oh shit, now of all times?!?*

(I look under the doormat and find the key)

"Hah, finally!" I exclaimed happily.. not realizing I yelled it out ...

The next second I heard stomping, coming from i side the house..

I dropped the torch on the front porch and ran to Rose's house, where I told Rosie and the other little girl to go.

I ran as I saw the house go up in flames. Finally, nobody is gonna hurt me. Or my kids. If they even are that.

I remembered the house the little girl took Rosie to and went there. I started fake crying and went up to Rose with a fake story. Good thing I know how to act well.

"Rose help me! I was on a walk, it was cold so I told the girls to go to your house because it was closer than our house. I went back here to get them and saw our house on fire! I don't know if my husband is gonna be oka-"

"Finally. You did it, right?"
*How.. did she know?*
"What do you mean Rose? I loved my husband dearly, I can't believe such a thing would happe-"
" Oh shush" she interrupted me " I know he wasn't nice. He always hurt you. But damn, you could have at least told me! You think I don't wanna commit arson?"

*No shit she's my friend. Her mind's as fucked up as mine is.*

"Okay, okay.. just don't tell the kids I did it. Please."
"I'll tell em a story or two so they fall asleep. Go tell people a fire started. I'm already happier because I know that bastard's already rotting in hell." She grinned. So did I. I hugged her, thanked her and went on to tell the people " a fire started".

(20 minutes later)

They bought it! They're trying to put out the fire at my house and save my husband. Little do they know, it's a little too late for that..

My family will live without fear now. I've saved us.
That son of a gun won't hurt us ever again.
