The dark Boyce home

Neptune got out of the old car, slamming the door. He leaned on the side of the car, his fedora tilted over his eyes, a slit of his right eye was exposed, a hint of annoyance in it.

"I'M SORRY! I told you, I didn't mean to bring it up!"

Jacob spoke, genuine sympathy in his voice. You're wondering what he said? Well.. He brought up the sensitive topic of Neptunes old wife.. dead. She passed a mysterious way. He was the only one to see her before she died.

"Whatever, let's be mature about this."

He walked away, leaving Jacob by himself. He headed up the hill to the mansion. It was a nice house, and as the sun went down, the shades of purple, pink, and orange complimented the yellow outer walls.

Jacob ran after him, putting his hands in his coat, sighing.

"This is the Boyce Family house? Wow.."

Jacob was weird about houses. He always fan-girled over them, talking about how pretty they were or how lovely the colors were.

"Yep, We will have to look around, think of a few ways of how they all died."

Neptune knew there was something wrong.. how did 4 people die all at 12 am, with nobody hearing? He wondered, then an idea came to him, he spoke it outloud-

"Mr. Boyce.. He was the only one found still alive when 911 got there, correct?"

Neptune spoke, his eyes glimmered with hope.

"Yes, but he died on the way to the hospital."

Jacob said, confused, trying to piece together what he was trying to say

"The others were shot in the heart, Mr. Boyce was shot in the leg."

Jacob finally understood, and at the same time, they spoke

"Mr Boyce killed his family, and killed himself afterward..!"

The men looked at each other with smirks. Though this was just a possibility, it had high chances of being the truth.

As the men grunted to the top of the hill, they reached the house. Its colors were bright, Jacobs eyes gleamed adoringly.
