"Love, can I take you out to dinner tonight?" I have to think about what Neal would want me to do or if he would be mad at me. "Sure I would love too!" "Pick you up at 8:00." he leans in and kisses my cheek. I shut the front door and grab my phone, 1 missed call. It's from Neal. I open my phone and listen to the voicemail. "hey Emma, its Neal and I just need to talk to you! I feel really bad about what happened the other night and I really need to tell you something so meet me at granny's tomorrow night at 7:30. see you then, bye." I turn off my phone and stare in the distance. I think I already know what he is going to say but I'm to struck to actually call him and tell him.
I stand in front of my mirror with a rose colored dress on and the keychain Neal got me on my neck, I don't care who I'm going on a date with I am not taking this necklace off. I come downstairs to find my mother and father on the couch and baby brother in his play pen. "oh Emma, you look stunning!" My dad crosses his arms. "he better watch his back." I roll my eyes at him. "David!" My mom can't stand when my dad takes hate out in Killian or Neal. There's a knock on my door and I answer it. "you look... amazing, love!" "Bye, David! Bye, Mary Margaret!" I walk out the door and get in Killians car. "love, we're not going to a restaurant we're going to the toll bridge because it's so beautiful out tonight." i smile into his eyes. "that sounds amazing!"
When we get to the part of the toll bridge that isn't a bridge we get out and set up or picnic. after eating our grilled cheeses and drinking our root beer I have to thank him. "thank you Killian for this evening it was the best!" "Anything for you love!"
As we drive home Killian puts his arm around me. he walks me to my door and gives me a kiss. "goodnight!" "Goodnight!" He walks away and I open the door and go straight to my bedroom. I change into my pajamas and get in bed, and I can't stop smiling and thinking about hook.
