The Enemy Is Among Us

Assorted tales about the Transformer's fight against the Nebulans

This was just one of many attempts, there were a squad of snipers, 3 bombs, a couple Targetmasters and 50 times cannons mysteriously deactivated. There were a few notable incidents though, here they are:

Hive mind: Vorath was glad to finally be on the field, he was excited to try out the abilities of the Decepticon he took, Mindwipe. He finally saw his target through his x -ray goggles. Suddenly he lashed out and dragged in a small, yellow, horned bot and gripped him tightly and spoke to him, activating his bot's powers and slowly he got into the bot's mind, making him do as he said, "kill Megatron and Prime, use rocket launcher, you will forget me". He let the now mesmerized bot go to do his bidding. He crawled into the vents and went to where the two were, channeling these thoughts into his mind-slave. Suddenly the bot walked in and fired, but some blue streak ran and disarmed him, the rocket still went off but instead hit the ceiling and only caused minor chunks to hit the two and then the streak stopped and it was some skinny bot. Fortunately Vorath's backup, a Targetmaster named Haywire then leaped from a vent and transformed, landing in the bot's hand and taking control of it plus his legs. He fired and missed! 'The blue bot's other arm must've hit the barrel throwing off the aim', Vorath mused. And then the vent gave way, sending Vorath tumbling to the floor and at such a speed(it was high up) that he fell unconscious. Both were taken into custody but soon Haywire and Blurr became best friends, they were a good fit for each other, as Blurr moves very fast and Haywire doesn't care for aiming. Haywire cooperated well with questioning while Vorath was like a clam with jaws of titanium. Bumblebee was let out of the med bay all healed.

Quickmix and Scoop's bad day: Some time after the Hive Mind incident this happened. Quickmix and Scoop were in the weapons room where there were four strange looking guns that interested them so they took them, they were kinda large and bulky. They both walked into the main hall connecting the armory and the Decepticon base's launch bay, remember that. They both walked in carrying their new weapons. Ironhide and Prime were targets this time. Ironhide noticed out of the corner of his optics the two with their new weapons. He notified Prime and they decided to ask about them. They explained how they were just there, but no one else saw them, then suddenly they grew very still and got confused looks on their faces. Prime bellowed, "Look out!" and leaped, getting him and Ironhide out of the way. The arms of Scoop and Quickmix moved up, starling the two because they didn't mean to move them. The guns fired, one released an explosive bolt and another released one that moved fast and riotched around. Another released a subsonic blast that boomed when fired, leading many to cover their sound filters in pain. Another released a powerful blast that compressed the steel walls and caused a small fire. Soundwave, Decepticons communications officer, decided to let out a sonic blast while everyone covered their ears, fortunately letting Quickmix and scoop know so they could consciously turn off their sound filters. Then a large funnel of sound came from Soundwave, causing the Nebulans to fall to the ground writhing. But then they got up, one got away, 3 were caught when they were hit by the ricocheting blast and . The apprehended Nebulan's names were Holepunch: a bossy annoyance, Tracer: a former teen criminal(brought up while in a particularly rough interrogation) who is hoping for a pardon from Necro, and then, Ricochet: a nebulan with moods that "switch faster than a color changing light panel"(said by Vortex, professional Decepticon interrogator). The one who got away was Boomer, an old but very cheerful nebulan who unfortunately sprinted away from the ricocheting blast and many angry bots to the decepticon launch bay. The others were stopped by cooling lubricant from the anti fire sprinklers and the ricocheting blast exploding.

The starship incident: Starscream was on a warship that was going to a large space battle nearby but then their ship seemingly stopped. Starscream knew then there was a spy on board, possibly more, and he was the only main leader on board, no Bumblebee, Ironhide, Prime and no Megatron. Starscream sighed as he knew this was going to be difficult, Starscream isn't the most popular Decepticon and a good bit of these bots were Autobots and the loyal constructicons were here too, and they don't like Starscream much. He tried to interrogate several robots, but most responses were, "Go away Starscream", immediate suspicion, or with some bots, running away(surprisingly the runaways were all spies, but not the one he was looking for). Then something crazy happened, three autobots and 3 decepticons walked in, Pointblank, Sureshot, Crosshairs(version with mouthplate), Triggerhappy(Titans return version), Misfire(idw comics version) and Slugslinger. The six were carrying 3 targetmaster partners. "We've decided to take you out ourselves, these nebulans have decided to help us out, they make pretty nice weapons, eh, Starscream?", Crosshairs said with a smug tone. The enthusiastic Misfire tried to shoot Starscream in the head but somehow, like all the times he tried to shoot, he completely missed, actually he shot Sureshot in the lower left area of his chest, Pointblank shot Starscream in the arm while doging null rays from the enraged second in command. Misfire's partner, Aimless, a complete and utter failure in terms of being a Targetmaster leaped on Starscream's neck and tried to gouge his eyes out but Starscream slammed back first into Slugslinger after the latter tried to kill him with rapid firing. Triggerhappy accidentally took out Crosshairs and blasted Starscream with erratic bursts. The jet bot rain out with his partner Blowpipe and tried to transform but a familiar yellow and black bot smacked him with a solid fist. The Dinobots arrived, they were contacted by Starscream to come urgently. The Dinobots then did a tough interrogation of Pointblank and carried the others into the cells. Then Starscream and Grimlock dealt with at least 5 more Nebulan spies, some autobots named Chromedome, Nightbeat(that one took a bit), Hosehead and Highbrow, then a decepticon named Apeface(the idiot decided to spit, but nebulan spit is acidic, and in the next room Grimlock was roughly taking out Hosehead and heard the acid). Then Starscream came to the gun control room, he heard a gruff male voice say, "Alright Arcana, hurry up, tried to contact Stylor and even that fool Spasma, but they didn't pick up, they've been taken out, so hurry up!". A voice that sounds just as scientific as Shockwave came on, "Alright Duros! Keep your mouth shut or we'll be here for a while, these Transformers have really hardwired their systems!". Starscream charged in, null rays blasting as Starscream rolled into something and then saw two nebulans standing there, one large body(of a soldier named Hardhead) on the ground and another aiming their blasters on him(this one was of a bot named Brainstorm) the Nebulan named Arcana was kneeling in front of a large hole in the control panel, his fingers on the side of his head, concentrating, controlling the transtector. Starscream realized he's screwed, its game over, etc. Suddenly Cerebros rushes in with a battle cry of "Hiwwwwwaaayaaa" and roundhouse kicks the transtector, taking Arcana out, and when Duros tried to get to her transtector Cerebros's head became Galen and he tackled her to the ground and struggled to get her to give up. She did. Galen talked to the two of them in private, then they came out, Galen said they are on our side and are willing to talk. Also Galen finally was able to return Cerebros's mind to his body in a process called Binary Bonding(when Galen and Cerebros's alt mode combine into robot mode Cerebros takes over).
