Im Kei's nextdoor neighbour and also his best friend.

What Kei doesnt know is that I liked him for many years. But thats only because I never bothered to tell him my feelings. It was too risky since he might not like me back and I may cause awkwardness to us.

It has been awhile since I got to see him. I actually went with my father overseas for 3 years so I can learn about his business when I was in middle school, but my mother still lives in the neighbourhood. And ever since I went overseas, many things happened.

I'm finally coming back!

I wonder what Kei's reaction would be when he sees me-

I bet he missed me too.

Is he gonna be happy, excited, surprised, sad, or angry?

Eeeek!

Im so excited to finally be back home!

I was enrolled to where Kei was studying at. He doesn't know that Im back yet. I am planning to surprise him at school tommorrow.

The Next day..

Mom told me that Kei and I were in the same class and that he recently joined a volleyball team.

I was glad to hear that Kei was still playing volleyball.

I went inside the classroom to look for Kei but then I saw a familliar figure walk by outside the classroom so I immediately knew that it was probably Kei. I ran out and went to follow the familiar figure quietly and planned to scare him out.

It was Tsuki!

But what I didnt expect was a beautiful tall girl holding Kei's arm.

Huh?

Who is she?

Ah! Im glad Kei found a new friend.

"Keiiiii-kun!!!"

"Wha?-"

His voice stopped as he heard the familiar voice.

"Did you miss me??"

Many students were staring as a GIRL just hugged Tsukkishinuma from behind.

"Oh, Its you."

"Who are you again?" He said although he knew I heard what he previously said.

"Eehhh? Its me! How could you forget me!"

"Kei? Who is she?" The beautiful tall girl asked.

Kei? First-name basis already?

"Her? Shes noone." He said with a stern tone.

I know Kei doesnt mean it.

"Hes lying! Im Kei's best friend!"

"Ah! Really? Nice to meet you! Youre the new transfer student, right?"

"Yeah! Im Y/n L/n."

"Im Miyuuki, Yuki for short, Im Kei's girlfriend."

Girlfriend? Hahaha- pffft? Him?

I just stared at Kei expecting for him to deny what she said.

"Wait..for real? HIM?? You got bad taste HAHAHAH-"

"Shut up. Lets go Yuki-chan."

Kei said as they walked away, their backs facing me.

I felt like I was about to cry.

No, what was I gonna cry about?

I dont know why, but my heart feels like crap right now.

I decided to go to the bathroom.

He had a girlfriend while I was away?

It wasnt like we were in a relationship though..

He never knew my feelings, I cant blame him..

Huh..?

I felt something wet on my cheek.

No way, I shouldnt be crying.

No..I shouldnt.

I should've came more earlier!

Why? I..should value our relationship now. I dont want to ruin it.

I should be happy for him..
