Oikawa Pt.1

"Y/n, promise me to marry me when we grow older!"

"Yes! I mean, I promise!"

"Haha, pffft"

"W-whats so funny??" I pouted at him.

"I was just kidding yet you said yes without any hesitation! HAHAHAHA"

"I hate you."

Me and Oikawa were friends since childhood. We had silly promises but this particular promise was something I hoped would become true. But, Oikawa was just fooling around, and not to mention he had feelings for my stepsister. So I never expect for this promise to become fulfilled.

My father and mother had divorced when I was in middle school. A few years later after that, mom found a new man. Thats when I had met my older stepsister. Oikawa and her were the same age.

Due to Oikawa's popularity, he had dated several girls.

It was painful for me to watch them to be together. It hurted to see him to be with another girl. I always told myself to bear with it because I knew Oikawa and I had no chance of being together.

And now, he has a crush on my stepsister. It was painfully obvious, to see him staring at her with so much care, and warmth. I had never seen him stare at me like that. I knew he only saw me only as a friend, a baby sister. So it was pointless to even dream about it.

Little did I know that my stepsister, Miyuuki, was all pretence.

Today is Oikawa's game against Karasuno high school.

I was heading to our school gym. Then I saw Miyuuki with another man, I found it rather suspicious and decided to follow them.

After a few minutes of walking, they seemed to have finally arrived at their destination. It was a hotel. I started to freak out.

What should I do?

Should I tell this to Oikawa?

Would he believe me?

Then, I decided to take photos for evidence for Oikawa to see.

I knew he liked Miyuuki so I didnt want him to be hurt. Id rather him knowing the truth of Lily's real nature than him getting lied to then get hurt. I knew I wasnt in any position to meddle into their business but I'd hate to see him even more sad. I'd hate to see him cry..

"Toru! Toru!!"

"Hey, stop saying my first name, people might assume something else."

I felt a bit hurt by his statement, I did want to be his someone and say his first name without him complaining..

"Um-sorry but this is important!"

"Alright, tell me Y/n-chan."

"W-well I saw Miyuuki with another man at a hotel earlier, I thought I needed to tell you this.."

"..."

Oikawa makes a doubtful face and glared at me like I was lying.

"Hahaha"

Oikawa started laughing.

"Huh?"

"Come on, I know you like me but you shouldn't lie about something just to make me dislike someone you know I like, Y/n-chan."

You make it seem like liking you isnt a big deal to you..

"I-im telling the truth!"

I kept fidgeting my hands and never looked at his chocolate brown eyes.

"Haha, really? Are you sure? You seem too nervous to be telling the truth."

"I am not lying!"

"Alright, alright~"

I knew he still didn't believe me as I didn't see any hint of belief in his eyes. I knew he thought I was lying.

"Then how about this? Do you still think Im lying?"

"..."

"Wow~ Y/n, I cant believe your good at photoshop. It looks so real and convincing."

I didnt even edit it, what is he on about??

"Fine, although Im not even lying, Its your choice whether if you want to believe me or not.."

"Mhm and by the way, Im gonna go to your house tonight, I left my jacket there."

"But, I could just bring it to you, you know..?"

"W-well, I just want to personally go there, alright?"

I have never seen Oikawa blush before. He looks cute..

Arghh..what am I even thinking??

I should'nt..Its pointless to like someone who doesnt like you back..

"Er..ok"

Then Oikawa just walks away.

He didnt even believe me, although being with him for almost 10 years, he still hasnt trusted me yet he'd rather trust my sister.

Who am I kidding?

Miyuuki looks pretty and nice and has a great body and also plays volleyball, and I was just someone who was just a childhood friend to his eyes.

If he hadnt met my sister, would things go a lot more differently?
