"Oh my God. What am I doing" Wally West was pacing back and forward in a tuxedo which Dick Grayson had lent him. "Hey, she will most definitely say yes! Calm down" Dick laughed at his best-friend "Or she will kill me, or worse! Make fun of me for the rest of my life" Wally sat on the sofa in the middle of Mount Justice beside Dick who was still in his Robin suit, who just finished patrol with The Batman himself. "Just wait till you have to do this in 2 years dude." Wally sighed and put his head in his hands "What do you mean? I know I'm a bit younger than you lot; but still Zatana asked me to go with her" he shrugged "Your going with Zatana! Dude you will be the youngest there!" He nudged his shoulder "and the son of-OH MY GOD BRUCE WAYNE!" Wally dramatically said mocking a young girls voice. "So what?" Dick the younger of the two laughed "He isn't my actual Dad y'know" he pointed it out "That's just makes you more famous also." Wally pointed out to the unmasked Robin beside him; "true."
2 HOURS LATER
"Done! Think she will like it?" Wally lifted up a classic 'Will you go to prom with me?' sign with a Cupid's bow drawn at the bottom. "Yeah! It's pretty aster" "sometimes I forget your first language isn't English" Wally chuckled at his friend. "English is so hard to learn; And the worst of it I have to put on an American accent when I'm Robin so the others don't know" he frowned "only, you the Bat Family, Zatana and Megan by accident know" "Eh, it's not the worst" Wally shrugged at Dick "could be. imagine if Artemis knew, she would HATE me" he shivered at the thought. "Anyway back to prom dude; so uh- how am I going to like, 'purpose'- is that the right word? To uh Artemis,..about prom...also can you go get us some chicken whizzes from the kitchen Dick?" He looked at his friend with pouted lips "fine." Dick sighed and got up to go get some snacks.
"Dick." Wally groaned jokingly impatient as he was "Hey! Come on that was uncalled for!-" Dick threw the snacks at Wallys face laughing "sorry not sorry. It's your name dude" "haha very funny Willy" "Oh come on now!" Wally laughed at his friend "Now that was uncalled for!" Dick grinned at him. "Now back to this "proposal" as you called it to Artemis-" "Hey!-"-
