~Chapter 1~

Dinah's POV

I'm so sick of this of my family my so called "friends" everyone. Everyone judges me even if they don't know me they still do. I planned to runaway years ago but I never had the money so since the 8th grade I have saved money up for this moment. Now its finally happening I won't be in one place for long I will settle down if I have found the right place. I have everything I need in my "car." Hair dye, money, clothes, credit cards etc. My grandmother and girlfriend Briana are the only two people I will keeping touch with once I leave. My grandmother already knows I'm leaving she gave me the idea she knows the troubles I go through everyday at home and at school she gives me the affection either of my parents never gave me. She set up the first house in Texas because its easier for me to get their from California.
I deiced to leave in the morning like I'm leaving for school so it wont be so obvious .

~THE NEXT MORNING~

"DINAH GET YOUR ASS UP BEFORE I BEAT YOU SO BAD YOU CAN'T WALK" I heard my 'dad' say I shot out of bed and jumped in the shower and of course it was cold. I washed my body off and got dressed grabbed my bags. I went down stairs just to get smacked in the face. 'SMACK' "DAMMIT DINAH DO YOU DO ANYTHING RIGHT?!?" yelled my red faced mother I knew better to even ask what she was even talking about so I just went along with it as hot tears went down my face. "You were right Gordon I should have swallowed." It didn't really faze me I had heard worse. "Why the hell are you still in my face dammit go do your sisters hair and don't you dare eat any of the damn food I just fixed that's for your siblings now hurry the fuck up before their late." I hurried up the stairs and grabbed my sisters hair bucket. I went to their room and knocked they opened the door and pushed right past me like I was invisible. I grabbed Regina's arm she started yelling like she was being murdered. My mom rushed up the stars to see what all the commotion was about. She seen my hands on her precious little angel and flipped. She grabbed me by my hair and smacked me twice yelling how she wished I was dead or how I ruined her life while my sisters just laughed in amusement. I just stood there and took the smacks and punches and kicks to the ribs. After she was done I got up and went to my room to see how bad it was. I had a black eye, a bloody nose, and busted lip I had a nasty bruise on my calf and arm from where she grabbed me. I had noticed that I still had to do the girls hair so I grabbed the biggest sweatshirt I had and went down stairs. I did the girls hair as they taunted me with the food mom had cooked. They all know I haven't eaten since Sunday dinner and its Tuesday the only reason I got to eat that is because my grandmother comes over every Sunday to make sure I at least eat after I leave her house on the weekends. I heard the bus for the kids outside so I walked them there. My school driving is at-least 20 minutes and my mom told the school that she takes me when she forces me to walk. After the kids got on the bus I walked to my grandmothers house to say my goodbyes and get the car and things I need to take with me. I called Briana last night and told her to meet me over at grandmas place. My grandmother loves me and accepts me to but she can't stand Jay. Lets just see how this goes.

I arrived to my grandmother's house in less than ten minutes it doesn't take long. When I got there I was greeted with a plate filled with every Poly breakfast you could think of. It was all delicious and tasty I couldn't even function I couldn't stay for long because the school would call my mom and let her know that I never showed up. I didn't want to leave with out seeing Briana. She told me she would be here I had another hour to just chill so I deiced to take a nap.

 One hour later... 

I was woken up to yelling I rolled of the couch to go into the kitchen to see what was going on. "You don't deserve Dinah treats you like a princess and you treat her like trash." "I love her and she knows it so don't even start with me okay." "Oh so you love her tell me this what took you so long to get here...whats her middle.... name her favorite color??" Briana was speechless I thought she knew these things but I guess not."Bri can I talk to you outside??" "Hey babe yea come on." "What took you so long you know I have to be gone by a certain time??" "Babe I was busy you know look I have to go okay." "Okay I love you." "Yeah you too." Sometimes I wonder if she really does we have been dating for about 7 months now. I walked back inside so I could head off "I'm about to leave grandma." "Okay darling have a safe trip and call me once you see the house I set up for you okay baby the GPS is already set okay I love you and there is a new phone in the car." "Also so leave this one here so when they track it I can just say you left it at my house yesterday when we went to the store." "I love you so much thank you." "Your welcome now go before they start to get suspicious." I got in the car and started for my new life ahead of me.

*Skipping car ride*

Once I got to the house it was small but not to small it had 2 bedrooms and one bath and a pool and of course a kitchen and living room. I got in the shower and dried of I deiced to walk around town to see what it was like. I went on Broad Street and seen a little coffee&book shop it looked cozy so I deiced to go in. I ordered a cappuccino and waited for it to be finished. I went to the back to get a book that I could read. As I was looking I walked right into a really tiny girl with hot pink shoes on. I helped her up and asked if she was okay. " Oh my gosh I'm so such a klutz are you okay? " " Yea I'm okay I wasn't watching where I was going sorry." " Its good want some coffee my treat?" I ask "Ummm sure okay." We walked up and bought another drink we walked to the booth and talked for hours we finally realized how long we had been there we exchanged numbers and planned to meet up at the park. I walked Ally to her car to confirm our "date" after lunch. She told me she may have to bring her little sister she wasn't sure but I told her I'm cool with it. I got back to the house and called Briana it went straight to voicemail so I tried face-time her she answered when she answered I seen the most heartbreaking thing ever.
