~Chapter 2~

Dinah's POV

I woke up to the sun shining in my face it was so peaceful I haven't woken up like this in a long time. I got up and called my grandmother we had a short conversation. It was only 10:00 so I deiced to go job hunting and get a quick bite to eat. I showered and got dressed I packed a light lunch for myself some stuff for Ally and got Ally's little sister a juice box Graham cracker's and crayons. I texted Ally where I should meet them at she texted me the address. I told her that I will be their after I get some job applications.

At The Park

I pulled up at the park a couple minutes early to set up. I chose a area close to the playground so we could watch her sister. I placed all the stuff out and layed on the blanket until she got here. I heard my name being called in the distance. I shot up having a flashback I knew it was Ally so I tried to gain control.  It finally stopped once they came up. Ally sat down with a beautiful girl with dark chocolate skin and black hair with dyed blonde tips. "Ally where is your little sister I brought her a coloring book?" Ally and mystery girl just busted out laughing I was so confused as to what was going on. "Okay I'm sorry hold on....okay this is my little sister Normani!" said Ally "Well this isn't awkward sorry about that I'm Dinah Jane ." "Normani." "So you to are sisters?" "Yep we are adopted." "Oh okay." "So whats your story Miss Dinah Jane??" asked Normani "Ummm well I lived in a house with 22 people including myself and only one person truly cared for me I thought it was two but my girlfriend cheated on me with my cousin so my grandmother is the most important person in my life." I took a small pause trying not to become emotional "She helped me leave that hell hole I called home." "Wow." said a teary eyed Ally "Yea not the best life." It started to get dark I walked the girls to their car but Ally's car wouldn't start so I decided they could spend the night at my house and in the morning I would take them home since it was already super late Ally texted their mom to let her know. Once we got home I started to cook some of the food that grandma had placed in the house already. "Girls dinners ready." I fixed their plates and started to take it to them when I heard Normani say "Damn she thick and can cook and she is so sweet I think I'm go have to wife her." I blushed hearing this news I walked in acting like I didn't hear anything and gave them their plates and brought them their drinks and got my plate and went into the living room. After we finished we deiced to watch Nemo. Right at the point Nemo was going to touch the butt the power went out due to the rain. Normani jumped at my side and buried her head in the crack of my neck. I rubbed her back trying to keep her calm I deiced to take the girls upstairs I grabbed Ally's hand and tried to pull Normani off me but she wouldn't budge so I carried her up the stairs. Since I didn't make up the bed in the guest room I placed Ally on the futon and put Mani in the bed. Yea I gave her a nickname already so what. I made a pallet on the floor. I layed down and was half sleep when I heard shuffling and muffled whispers. 5 minutes later I felt a pillow hit my head I looked around to see a laughing Mani "What is it?" "Come sleep with me I need a cuddle buddy" "Are you sure?" "Yea now come on." I got under the covers and turned my back so she could have her space. "Ehhm." I turned over to see Mani staring me down "yes?!?" I said utterly confused "Cuddle with me now!"she grabbed my arm and placed it over her waist I had never had this type of affection so it was really weird for me. "Babe are you okay??" 'Omg she just called me babe!!' thankfully it was dark so she couldn't see my red tinted cheeks. "Yea" "Okay night night." "Goodnight Mani."
