So first off, this story will take place in a world that is a sort of fusion between the Light Novel version of Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest and the Web Novel version of Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation. So in other words, the lore and world-building will be mostly that of Mushoku Tensei. So the Labyrinths from Arifureta will be there, the Otherworlders and other important characters like Yue, Shea, and Tio will all be there, important plot characters like Noint, the demons, and Ehit will also be included. Also, nearly everything else involved is in Mushoku Tensei lore.

My character, Jay Morgandy, will possess the powers and knowledge and whatnot of:

Rudeus Greyrat

Rimuru Tempest

Hajime Nagumo

Jinwoo Sung

Of course, he must grow with their powers and their experiences as time moves on as well. His progression will be through his mentality, emotions, power, knowledge, understanding, etc. as he will grow as a person, not as a character. I want to emulate Mushoku Tensei’s writing and expertise as much as possible with the world building and character development.

Mushoku Tensei will take the lead of those two worlds since A. I like it more because of just how realistic the story is and how much effort and depth is brought out in each and every character, the settings, story, and everything in-between. B. It’s just a phenomenal story overall. C. If I were to be honest, I’d say Mushoku Tensei is my new favorite anime/story of all time. That’s just how good it is to me. I don’t know why, but the main character and the story itself just kind of… clicks with me. Don’t get me wrong, stories like That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest, Solo Leveling, The Rising of the Shield Hero, and a few other series like it are all amazing. Especially the first three listed (not too big of a Shield Hero fan. Good story, just not my cup of tea, ya know? I like it, but I don’t connect to it in any way. It’s just not a story to me. It’s like a very surreal nonfiction book. It’s not like Percy Jackson in my Elementary years where I could relate to a young kid growing up in dangerous situations and being forced to change constantly because of it, or Arifureta where the MC is ridiculed for not always taking every single thing seriously until the cold, harsh, evil world pushes him to grow or die, or Tensura where someone is just trying to enjoy their new life making a family and learning the ins and outs of his new world, or Mushoku Tensei where the MC’s whole life caved in on him in the beginning and, given a second chance, slowly grows and matures in a realistic manner in a way that I can and am deeply connected to) ok… gotta stop my rambling.

Regardless, that’s essentially it for now. My own character that I’m developing will be reincarnated in the very sense of the word into another world. This world. However, I’m making him as close as possible to me. So the traumas I carry, the wounds I’ve brought upon myself, my pros and cons, my outlook on the world and family, and how it can and will likely change if I was given a second chance at life in another world with powers, will all be included into here. So this Jay Morgandy is entirely a reflection of myself and my life. The bad, ugly, and what little good there is of me.

P.S.: The name “Jay” is actually my nickname from my actual name, Jalen. Regardless, let’s get this story started!
