"So... you have something to tell us, Rudy?" Roxy began. I clenched my hands into fists and sat down on a chair. I sighed.
"I know you'll hate me after I tell you this so... I won't ask what you think of me or our training or anything along those lines. Plus..." I clenched my jaw. "... I'm a very detestable person to begin with."
I sighed sadly and then took in a few deep breaths. I looked each one in the eyes and said, "I'm not Rudeus Notos Greyrat. My real name is Jay Lyrick Morgandy, an eighteen year old man from the United States of America, a country located on the planet Earth." I declared, with my demeanor deadly serious.
"..." Silence reigned over us for a short while. I lowered my head and continued,
"The reason why I excel at magic and the sword is due in part to my past life, not my current one. I am no genius, no prodigy. There is nothing special about me compared to people like you three. Miss Roxy became a Water Saint-tier magician at such a young age, Miss Yaegashi became a master of the sword far before I ever took Karate classes, and Miss Shea is an incredibly dexterous and powerful magic swordswoman at such a young age. If anyone here should be feeling inferior to anyone, it should be me, not any of you."
"..."
More silence.
I sighed. I knew it... well, at least I told them before things got worse...
A loud, exorbitant sigh cut across the silence. It was Shizuku. "I knew you weren't as you appeared. I had a feeling since day one. But to think you came from the same world as I did..." Shizuku said.
Is she not mad? Not angry that I hid something so big from her?
Shizuku lifted my chin up and looked into my eyes with her kind, gentle ones. "But I'm not mad at you. You didn't technically lie to us about it and it's a huge secret. I can completely understand why you wouldn't want to tell us."
She wasn't lying. In fact, when she spoke, she spoke with a tremendous amount of pride. What did she have to be proud of from someone like me? I don't get it. What could anyone like about me?
"Thank you." She said with a bright smile.
At that moment, my heart belonged to two women. I fell for Shizuku Yaegashi. A warmth spread to my cheeks.
"Did you think I would get mad at you or something? What a dummy!" Shea said loudly, crossing her arms under her large chest. I chuckled.
A warmth began to form in me.
Shea smiled brightly and loudly, an exuberant sunshine and rainbow. I couldn't help myself from smiling at her contagious one.
"You're my friend and student! Of course I'll still love and care about you like one! Just because you came from somewhere else doesn't mean I will love you any less!" She said proudly. More warmth spread to my cheeks as what she said hit me.
Now my heart belonged to three women.
Damn it. Your love is contagious! I have never fallen in love this easily before! Well... not true love, at least.
Then she stopped and realized what she said with an "oh". I chuckled at that.
"I told you before, didn't I? I'm your teacher. Besides, according to you, I'll become your wife one day." Roxy said and my eyes widened.
"H-how–?"
Roxy looked at me smugly, "You whispered it in my ear."
My face went pale.
"Wait! Will we become your wives too?!" Shea suddenly asked.
I looked at both Shea and Shizuku. I took a deep breath and a pained expression came over me. "I will have at least twelve wives. Or so the future I saw told me. I only know for certain a few, like Roxy and you two, but I also know that a girl named Sylphiette, a girl called Eris, a woman named Tio, and that a girl called Kaori will—"
