Sociopath: noun. def: a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience.

For those of you morons that didn't know what a sociopath was, well, there you go. That word is printed in bold, red letters, all caps, right under "Orion Faye Williams" on every single medical sheet I could possibly own.

However, I've got to make this clear. Do not, under any circumstances, automatically associate anyone with APD (antisocial personality disorder, more commonly known as sociopathy, what I have, or psychopathy) with "serial killer" or "criminal mastermind". Sure, I'm definitely a mastermind, but I'm definitely not incompetent enough to use it for felonies.

Even so, the definition that is stated above isn't particularly the clearest, so let me shed a little light on the situation. Here, I found a slightly intelligible article on online to give a few points.

How To Spot A Sociopath

1. Extreme intelligence, seemingly omniscient

Well, yeah. Obviously. I have an IQ of 164. That rivals Einstein's cranium capacity. Of course I'm a genius, and I basically am omniscient. I know almost everything. Even at school in my junior class in high school, I easily have a 4.0. If I don't get 100% on something, you know that I didn't care enough to fill my brain with pointless information.

2. Using charm or wit to manipulate others for personal gain or for sheer personal pleasure

So I'm charming. Sue me. I'd win the trial anyways. Plus, humans are so easily played with. I can get whatever I want with just a flick of a finger. What's wrong with knowing what you want and how to get it? The world is my stage and the people are my puppets.

3. Intense egocentrism, sense of superiority and exhibitionism

Aren't we preached to about self-confidence and self-acceptance continuously from birth to death? So what's the problem with knowing you're superior to everyone? I mean, I'm a genius, I'm gorgeous, I'm athletic and musically talented, I'm hilarious, and I have mountains of friends. Of course I'm superior.

4. Sex addiction is common

Okay, true, I'll admit I have a bit of an addiction. But sex is so good. It feels like pizza tastes. So what if I lost count the number of partners I've had in the past month? (it's at least in double digits) There's nothing wrong with it as long as you're safe. With a body and face like mine, there's quite a line up of people ready for you. Plus you don't have to deal with guys getting clingy if you make it clear it's not serious.

5. Hostility, significant irritability, agitation, impulsiveness, aggression or violence

I got my stubbornness from my grandma, my competitiveness from my mom, my irritability from my dad, and my aggression from playing hockey since I was three. So technically, it's not my fault.

6. Lack of empathy for others and lack of remorse about harming others

I've just got one question. Why should I care if someone gets butthurt over something I said? If it's the truth, you're going to have to learn to deal with it. If it's not the truth, well, get thicker skin. Don't go crying over a simple comment. I may be a bitch, but I'm a logical bitch.

7. Unnecessary risk-taking or dangerous behaviors

Okay, so I'm a sex addict. I've been to my fair share of parties. I'm no stranger to drinking games and obviously I have a fake I.D. to get into some fun clubs. Sure, I've tried some weed and a bit of hookah and maybe some other random drugs that were thrust at me, but I'm a teenager. Isn't that what teenagers do?

8. Poetic speech

I love words. Words have so much power. Words are how people get what they want and explain things in the most astounding ways. They can paint a picture to those who cannot see, they can prove facts to those who cannot understand. Words are beautiful.

9. Desire for attention

Attention-whore? Maybe a little bit. I love the spotlight, and the spotlight loves me. As captain of the varsity hockey team and one of the leaders in the performing arts branch of my school, I'm very accustomed to attention. I yearn for others to adore me.

10. Incapable of love

What's the point of loving another when they can't keep up with you? Or with potential heartbreak? It's just a lost cause, and frankly, quite pointless.

Well, there you have it. My medical diagnosis. But I'm much more than just a word on a paper. I'm Orion Williams, professional sociopath, and this is my story.
