After rushing out of Apollo's office I was walking down the street not knowing where i was going, but i just wanted to get out and away from the Trevino Hotel.
"Hey" i heard a unfamiliar manly voice call after me, i knew it wasn't Apollo and that frightened me so i picked up my pace.
"Miss Richardson.." The voice spoke which made me come to a stand still. "I was hoping that would get you to slow down speedy Gonzales" the deep voice chuckled.
I turned to see Apollo's brother Damien, i haven't seen him since my class trip and i'm extremely glad it was him coming after me and not a stranger.
"Hey Mr. Trevino" I waved embarrassed for running away from him.
"Where are you heading aren't you suppose to be working?" He asks smiling down at me. "When i saw you rush out i thought something was wrong"
"No... I did what Apollo asked of me now i'm heading..." I looked in the direction i was walking in, nothing but a long street and no ending in sight. "Home?" I questioned myself.
"If you are heading this way there isnt a bus stop or a train station in that direction" He laughs a bit. "Come i'll show you"
"I don't really want to go home Mr.Trevino i'm sorry thank you for the offer though"
"Then let me treat you to a.... Soda you're not of age are you?" He reached for the back of his head scratching the nape of his hair.
I couldn't help but smile noticing the difference between him and Apollo.
Apollo was stern and confident, Damien didn't seem that way at all, he was nervous and a bit unsure of himself.
"Yeah..." I shrugged sure.
He bowed pointing his hands in the direction he wanted me to walk in and i followed suit.
Gotham Bar & Grill
we sat at a table close by the bar and window.
He ordered himself a Black Velvet, which from what i saw the bartender put in contained Guinness and white, sparkling wine.
"Can i get something besides a pepsi" i groaned holding up my can and twirling it around.
"Alcohol isnt good anyway" he smiles taking a sip of his wine and groaning in pleasure with the pleasant taste.
"Says the man basically moaning over his ALCOHOLIC drink" i laughed and looked at the small menu on the bar table.
"Strawberry Margarita" i waved to the bartender. "Extra tequila please" i whispered lowly so Damien couldn't hear.
"Why didn't you want to head home? Its a bit late to be wandering" he asked taking another sip of his drink.
"My mom's probably not home anyway and i would just be there by myself so why not walk around awhile" i took the drink from the bartender excitedly taking a sip as the cool liquid poured down my throat.
"I know that feeling all too well..." He sighed. "Our mom passed when we were younger and my dad was always working.. It was just my brother and I all the time"
"At least it brought you guys closer right?" I asked watching his face closely.
"It did" he nodded in agreement. "But having a parent around just seems alot better i guess"
I nodded in agreement and waved at the bartender to bring me over another drink, if he was going to pay i was going to take advantage.
"Thats your last drink" he nudged me. "I cant have you drunk"
