Chapter 13

Lily was still not getting any better as Christmas approached. Marion was starting to worry for james' health. "She will be fine, she is the Lily Evans, if anyone could survive something like this, it's her." Marion comforted james as she sat down next to him. "You know her more than i do, but from what i heard at hogwarts, she's brilliant and strong. Apparently the only ones who could hold you under control?" She bumped his shoulder teasingly. "And we all know that is not an easy task." By now she could spot a small smile on his face.

"Youre the best." James hugged her tightly.

"Well. yes obviously." She kissed his cheek befire pulling away. "Well get harry from his room then!" James was confused. "Well haven't you noticed the snow outside? We can't waste another minute." James went to grab harry with a few protests.

"But dad it's cold outside."

"Harry, you're six, wait until you're a teenager and then you can start complaining about being dragged to do things." All he got in response was a hmph and an eyeroll. "Did you just roll your eyes at me?" James' eyes were wide in mock offence.

"He did."
"I did."  Marion and Harry said at the same time.

James dunked marion in the cold snow. "What you do that for!?" He shrugged.

"Im cold." Harry was standing with his hands on his hips.

"Me too Harry." Marion agreed.

All of them headed inside. Ring ring. "Marion, answer the phone will you?" James shouted after her as he was busy putting all the clothes in their right places.

"Hello?"

"Hei, jeg håpet du ville svare." 
(Hi, i hoped you would answer.)

"Hva er det? Har noe skjedd?" Marion asked Oliver.
(What is it? Has something happened?)

"Hæ." He said confused. "Nei, mamma vil ha deg hjem til middag. Hun sa en gjest skulle komme til middag eller noe."
(Huh. No, mum wanted you home for dinner, said a guest was going to join us for dinner or something.)

Marion looked at james and harry who were sitting on the sofa reading a book. "Ja, jeg kommer snart." She said and hung up
(Yes, ill be there soon.)

"Dad? Was she cursing us?" Harry asked innocently, which made james howl with laughter.

"No, dear." He choked down a laugh. "She was speaking viking." Marion looked at them weirdly.

"I have to leave. Mum wants me home for dinner." She leant down to kiss james. "Bye."

"Ewwwwwwwww" harry said covering his eyes.

Marion's pov:

When i walked into the hallway, i could hear laughter from the dining room. "I'm home!" No response. They really must be enjoying themselves. I walked into the dining room.

"Oh marion, you must meet our guest." Mum said. I look over to the guest, and see him smiling at me, i smile back. "Auror Black has come to ask us questions about the murders." I try not to laugh. I must've forgotten to mention i know him to my mum.

"Hello Sirius." I let out a chuckle as he gives me a salute. "But why do i need to be here for that?"

Mum looks at me shocked, before lowering her voice "well you're so familiar with the dark arts so we thought it better you answer possible questions."

"Well we can do that afterr dinner, can we not?" Dad says.

Dinner is normal, nothing too out of the ordinary, except for the fact my boyfriend's best mate is sitting at the dinner table.

"Where you want to go?" I ask sirius.

"Somewhere more private, i have other things to discuss with you aswell." He whispers, not wanting the others to hear.

"Follow me." I lead him to my room. He places a silencing spell on the room.

"This is weird. Anyway. Just some simple questions on the murders. Ive heard youre quite good with family lineage aswell?" Sirius asks.

"Well yes, a bit." I rub the back of my neck.

"Ok well what about family crests?."

I look at him as if he's dumb, "uh, yes." He looks at me as if to continue. "Well mum's side of the family is the rosier's ;their's is a flower. And my dad's side is a rose. Yours is a raven, malfoy's an m with dragons. Avery has a knight. Potter has a horse. That's what i can remember from the top of my head." I look at him. "Why do you want to know the crests, i thought you wanted to know about the dark arts."

"Eh not really."

"Rude."

"What's going on with you and james?" He blurts out.

"W-what?" I choke out.

"You dont think i'm blind do you?" He laughs.

I raise an eyebrow at him. "You want me to answer that?" Sirius just gives me the finger. "Nothing is going on."

"I kow youre lying. But as the amazing human i am, i realise you should tell us when youre ready." I hug him before he leaves.
