THE CHARIOT stopped in front of the heaven-like palace as Devasena looked at it with awe.

"Rajkumari," a das said. "Mahoday Satyaki will be greeting you at the door, please wait for him." she looked and saw a man nearby Arjun's age, running towards her. A smile etched on her face, of course she knew who Satyaki was, he was one of the best companions of Arjun at Guru Dron's ashram. A playful smile formed on her lips as she thought of the pranks that she could play on him.

Satyaki panted a bit as he stood in front of the chariot. "Pranipat Rajkumari." he greeted.

"Where were you Mahoday?" she strictly asked as his widened out of fear.

"Kshama karein! I was told to greet you on a short notice so I forgot." he reasoned as Devasena's eyes widened with anger.

"Aap bhool gaye! How could you?! I am the Kulputri of Kuruvansh, the future maha-mantri of Hastinapur and you forgot to greet me?!" Satyaki was now scared, everyone knows the scary anger of Rajkumari Devsena, he feared that he would be one of those to suffer her wrath.

"Kshama karein, Rajkumari Devsena." he lowly said.

"Kshama karoon?!" she exclaimed. "You forgot to greet me and then expect me to forgive you!"

"Kshama karein Rajkumari, I didn't mean to hurt your pride." he said, looking like a lost puppy.

"The only way to forgive you is mrityu dand." she ordered as his eyes widened like a sad and lost puppy. Devasena couldn't resist herself and busted out laughing.

"Rajkumari, why are you laughing?" he asked confused.

"You bought my prank, huh, Satyaki?" she said between laughs as Satyaki looked at her confused. "I was joking Satyaki, aur ye Rajkumari-Rajkumari kya hai, main tumhari Sakhi hoon, don't tell me that you forgot our childhood." she said as hopped off the chariot.

"Aur mitron se gale lag kar milte hai Satyaki." she said as she hugged him tightly. "Shall we?" Satyaki nodded as they entered the palace.

"Rajkumari, I have one request." he said as she looked at him. "Say it?"

"Please don't prank me." he requested. "Why?"

"One was enough, having another prankster would surely make me lose my sanity." he pleaded as she laughed. "No promises."

"Hastinapur Kulputri Rajkumari Devasena padhar rahi hain!!" The dwarpaal (GUARD) screamed as shehnais were played and flowers were showered on her.

Mata Devaki and Mata Rohini stood on the gate with aarti ki thali on her hands along with Maharaj Vasudev. While the three siblings stood nearby them. Devasena's eyes met Krishna, who smiled at her. Seeing his smile, her breath took away, it seemed as if everything has stopped just like the same way it did when she saw him with an arrow on his chest.

Devasena diverted her gaze as both the Matas respectively did her tilak and gave her blessings.

"I always wanted to meet you, putri." Devki said. "And see, seems like Narayan heard my wish."

"You are right Mata." Krishna said. "Narayan fulfils everyone's wishes." Devasena smiled.

"Putri you must be tired, you should rest." Vasudev suggested but Subhadra interjected.

"No she will spend time with me. I am tired of being the only girl, I want her company." she pouted as Devasena smiled at Krishanuja.

"Arre Subhadra!" Revati teased. "She might like to spend time with our Kanha." Devasena assumed that it might be because she has seen them exchanging looks with each other. She blushed slightly at the comment. Devaki kept a hand on her cheek.

"Putri if you want you can rest, they all are teasing you. They always do." she lovingly said.

"Mata Devaki, I want to change my dress and then I will spend time with Subhadre." Subhadra squealed with joy as everyone laughed.

"Aur mera kya?" Krishna pouted as she looked at him. "Who wants spend time with you?"

Kanha looked at her stunned as Balrama smiled. "Itne varshon ke pashcat, you are the only one who has been able to defeat in the war of words, why two years, you should stay here forever." Kanha smiled with a twinkle in his eyes.

"She will, Dau. Very soon, she will." Devasena looked at him confused.

After having a soothing bath, Devasena changed into a light blue lehenga and wore a small chudamani, that she always wore, it was like a small peacock. Leaving her hair open she proceeded towards the beach where Subhadra would be waiting for her, Subhadra was older than Devasena but was more childish something that Devasena was enjoying.

It was already sundown and the sky was now covered with a pink-bluish hue.

"You are late." Subhadra scolded. "I have been waiting for you since forever."

"I am not late, Bhadra, you are early." she mused as Subhadra huffed.

"Maybe. Oh! Did I ever mention-"

"You two forgot about me?!?" Kanha asked suddenly as Devasena jumped out of fear.

"-that Bhrata Krishna has decided-sorry-forced me to let him tag along with us." Subhadra completed as Devasena took breathes to calm herself.

"Why did you scare me?" she asked, her eyes widened.

"Me?" Kanha scoffed. "You yourself got scared, priye."

"Priye?" Subhadra asked confused.

"It's nothing." Devasena instantly added. Kanha smirked at her.

"So continue of what you both were talking."

"Why are you here?" Devasena asked as they walked along the sea shore.

"I had nothing to do so I decided to tag along." he shrugged.

"Asambhav." Devasena scoffed. "You are always up to something."

"Oh really?" he asked, amusement lacing his voice. "Then tell me what I am up to."

"Making riddles and confusing people." Devasena replied back.

"Or maybe they are not intelligent enough to understand that."

"Maybe what you say doesn't make sense."

"Maybe they don't make sense in that situation but later they do." he smiled with a mischevius look in his eyes.

"Anything you say has no meaning." Devasena didn't give up.

"Everything I say has meaning, you just have to change your drishti. Drishti badlo, priye, srishti swayam hi badal jaayegi."

"Why don't you change your drishti?" she retorted.

"My drishti is everyone's drishti." he replied.

"You are irritating." she huffed.

"Nah! I am lovable." he said with a cute look.

"You are not lovable." she said, trying not let herself drown away with the cute looks.

"Even you accept it, priye." before Devasena could answer Subhadra interjected.

"Shut up both of you!"
