This case was starting to take a huge toll on the whole team. We've been working on it day and night, not resting until we find the guy who did this. And I mean literally, me and Reid have been up for majority of the nights. Aaron ordered us all to go to the hotel and get some rest but that was near impossible for me to do. Everything just felt wrong. We made quick effort to hunker down as soon as we go to the station earlier today, but we obviously overlooked all the main points due to the sleep deprivation the team was enduring.

I took another look through the notes and files i collected today, giant wholes in our case where just staring at me, practically begging to be noticed and corrected. The night was still young and by young i mean it was 2am and everyone else was asleep in their respected rooms. Everyone but me.

I paced the length of my hotel room, a dark black shirt hanging loosely on my body with my plaid pyjamas pants and fuzzy socks finishing the look. I stopped dead in my tracks when it clicked. I quickly grabbed my miss matched converse and pulled them onto my feet, tucking the laces tightly into the sides. i took one quick look in the mirror to see my bun had fallen and was now hanging on the side of my head, the dry shampoo and hairgrips failing at holding it together. i untangled the hairband and shook my hair before i racked my fingers through it all and pulled it into another messy bun.

i scooped up the files from my bed, tucking in the notes id made into the manila folder and headed out the door and down the hall. I knocked on the identical door a few doors down from mine and waited patiently for him to open it. I rocked back and forth on my heels, thoughts racing through my head.

The door opened with a creek and a tired Spence stood with his messy hair and crinkled shirt and pants. He's odd socks covered by them stupid dog slippers he made us buy, as if we didn't have enough matching footwear as it is.

"god i cant believe you brought them with you" i laughed as i pushed past his tired form. I took a seat on the floor in front of his bed and patted the spot next to me. He stood ahead of me unimpressed with my presence in his room.

"How are you so awake right now its" he paused and headed to the bedside table to look at his watch "2:34am" he continued as he rubbed his eye, stifling a yawn.

"coffee" i deadpanned "coffee always helps. so do the energy drinks. Now sit down at help me pretty boy" i dropped the file in front of me and started to spread out the notes and photos.

"Addie you stole this didn't you" he spoke as he pointed at the sticker on the front of the folder

"Oklahoma police department do not remove"

"pft 'stole' is such an accusatory word Spencer i prefer to see it as temporarily misappropriated" i smiled innocently as i played with the loose strands of hair that had fell in front of my face.

he chuckled as he placed down the folder and turned his attention to me "you can see it how you want but if Hotch asks im not getting you out of this one"

"sure you won't" i laughed as i gently patted his knee. He just stared down at me with a crooked smile on his lips as he let out a slight laugh.

We stayed up for hours going back and forth with different ideas. Spence was a good sport and entertained my strange theories and ideas. But together we somewhat solved the case before we passed out tangled up in the papers scattered across the small hotel room.

I woke up before Spence did which was honestly very surprising. I collected all the files and notes before pulling off a post it note of the top of the pack and scribbled out a small note and sticking it to Reid's head before leaving the room.

I shuffled slowly down the hall, bumping into a large frame on the way to my door. Me being the clutz i am dropped all the papers as i collided with the brick wall of a body.
