You suddenly felt a strange pulse, you put down your sword and look behind you. 

"What the-" you said in alarmed before blacking out

You felt as if you were floating so you opened your eyes. There was nothing but darkness that surround you and the only source of light is yourself, what is this? Did Muzan developed a new blood art technique? 

"Hello"  a voice spoke startling you

"Relax, i am not here to harm you" the voice assured, a bright light appeared in front of you and took form of a woman.

"Who are you?" You asked calmly but cautiously

"I am, as you can say, your ancestor. Kibutsuji Mai" She smiled

"How can i trust you?" You asked, unless there is something that she can do to prove herself, you will not trust her.

The self-proclaimed Kibutsuji Mai said nothing but smile, she closed her eyes and once she opened it again you were met with a crystal magenta eyes. It was the Twilight eyes.

You nod in satisfaction, this was enough proof. Mai eyes turned to normal again as deactivate the Twilight eyes. 

"I don't have much time left. I want to tell you something very important so please listen" She said patiently. You nod and stared her curiously. 

"I know you have it, you need to work with someone named Tamayo. She is a demon that has escaped from my brother, Muzan and wish to destroy him. I know Kagaya-San will ask her to work with the demon slayers. I believe you working with Tamayo and Shinobu will benefit and be able to use its essence" Mai said

She smiled almost sadly at you, it almost made you wonder why. Suddenly Mai hugged you.

"I'm sorry. Sorry that you get to be my descendant when you could live a peaceful life" She cried, you smiled and hugged her back.

"There's no need to be sorry ancestor, there is not a single moment where I regret the path I have chosen" 

She lets you go and smiled again with tears still dripping down her face. She told you something that made you closed your eyes and nod "I know"
