After they finished breakfast, Alec goes to the Institute and Magnus with Daemon washed the dishes. After a few minutes of silence, Daemon was the first who spoke.
- Do you think Miya is in Edom?
- I don't know... Maybe. But when she came back, I'm gonna kill her. *answer Magnus*
- Can I go with you after Dagon?
- Sure. I miss him. This house is so quiet without him.
- And then why did you let him at your friend? *asked Daemon *
- Because we were drunk and...you know.
- Yeah, I know. *said Daemon laughing*.
After half an hour.
- Okay, we are done here. Let's go after Dagon.
And they teleported home to Cat.
When Dagon saw Magnus, he runs in his arms.
- Papa!!
- Hey sweet pea. How did you sleep?
- Where is Miya? She said...*but he stopped looking at Cat*.
- Yeah, Cat. *Magnus heard Daemon's angry tone*. Where is Miya? *and his eyes changed in red*.
Magnus grabbed his arm when Daemon makes one step toward Cat. Magnus knew that he can't control his demon.
- She...
- She what?! Tell me now, or I will decorate these walls with your blood.
- Daemon! *shout Magnus* Stop.
- I'm sorry... I did what she wanted.*said Cat without fear in her voice*.
- And what *Within two seconds, Daemon was near Cat* she wanted?
Dagon left from Magnus' arms going between Daemon and Catarina.
- She wanted to leave. *Dagon said looking at the floor*. She... wants that.
Cat looked at Dagon.
- He heard everything? *Cat thought*.
- What, sweetheart? *Daemon kneels in front of Dagon*. Tell me, I won't hurt you, even if you don't tell me.
I will never hurt you. *he caresses Dagon's hair*.
Dagon raised his head, looking into Daemon's red eyes.
- She wanted to leave... She wanted to forget about us.*Dagon said*
- What... Cat?*asked Magnus*.
Catarina sighs and told everything to them.
- I'm sorry... But you know her, Mags.
- I know, Cat. But how can we...help her now? Why she...
- Miya wants to keep you safe. I think she did that for her too. Coming back from Edom can be impossible. Especially for her and maybe that's why she wanted to forget everything.
- This is not an excuse. *said Daemon*
- No, it's not. But if you know her, then you know why she did that. *said Cat sitting on the couch*.
Daemon wanted to leave but Magnus stopped him.
- Where are you going?
- To find something. I will not stay here...*answer Daemon*.
- Let's do that together. I won't let you alone in this. She is my sister.
- I will...*Cat wanted to say but she was stopped by Daemon*.
