We both stood there. Me staring at her, not wanting to take my eyes off of her. I bit my lower lip as I waited for her response.
She stood there frozen and surprised.

We were standing just a foot apart. I think she was too dazed to give me a response.

So, I smiled at her and grabbed her hand. She looked confused this time.

"It's alright. You can give me your answer tomorrow, or the next day, or the next next day, whenever you're ready. I'll just wait until you've made up your mind. For now, let's go home," I said and walked, pulling her with me.

As we walked, I was smiling while sometimes looking up at the sky. I didn't let go of her hand. I would sometimes feel her gaze on me but I won't look back at her.

"W-what did you like about me, Jisun-ah? Why did you like me in the first place?" she asked. It was the first time she talked since earlier.

"Didn't you ask that before already?" I asked laughing softly.

"I just want to ask again."

"It's because you're you. You made me realize a lot of things. Made me appreciate all that surrounds me. Made me a better version of myself. I finally saw things clearer because of you," I answered her with all sincerity.

I stopped and faced her, still holding on to her hand.

She looks at me with an expression that I'm not familiar with. "You're the reason of it all, Gyuri. I want to be with you."

She then reached for my other hand and sighed.

"Jisun-ah.... you are the first person I got comfortable with after Hayoung and Saerom. You understood me very well. You cheered for me all the time and supported me. When I'm with you, I also feel at ease. Maybe I was just scared to admit that.... I was already falling for you too."

This time, it was my turn to be shocked. My eyes widen because I didn't expect her to say this words right now.

She smiled and looked at the smiling moon and the bright star next to it. Then she looked at me.

"Will it be okay for me to yes already?" she asked while her smile resembled that of the moon. My tears suddenly fell uncontrollably from my eyes.

Without wasting a second, I hugged her tightly. She wrapped her arms around me while smelling my hair.

"You said it already, okay? You shouldn't take it back," I stated while still sniffling. I heard her laugh. I also inhaled her scent as I buried my face in her chest. She smells a lot like oranges.

"Wait, are you using my clothes as your tissue?" she joked. I slapped her shoulder not that hard before pulling away from her.

"I was not! Yah, it's your fault because you made me cry," I told her.

"What? Then should I take back my answer so that you won't cry?" she playfully asked. I hugged her again and shook my head while in her embrace.

"No! Don't take it back."

She giggled and replied, "Alright, I won't," and hugged me back.

I woke up at around 5am and felt so energized. Even if I only had 4 hours of sleep because of a certain puppy, I was feeling so great.

I went through my phone and quickly typed a message...

Good morning, Gyul~ Did you sleep well? Anyway, I'll see you later. Wake up now or else you'll be late for class 😘
