Today was a calm one. Nobody had work, no school, no project. Just a chill weekend. "Achoo!" Y/n sneezed. She has been sneezing alot the past week, and she sounded different. Her nose was stuffed, but she hid it very well. Since she was always yelled at for being sick, she had to keep her cold hidden.

"L/n, thats your 6th time sneezing. You okay?" Karino gave Y/n a tissue box.

"I'm fine. Nothing to worry about." she lied and blew her nose, the tossed the tissue in the trash then groaned. "Agh,"

"Sick? Lady L/n, do you have a cold? I will make some tea, you must cover up this instant." Kotaro popped out of nowhere and boiled some water.

Kotaro had invited his friends to watched the premiering Tonosaman show together. But they all noticed Y/n kept sneezing.

"I'll keep you warm! Come into my arms Y/n!" Isamu reached to Y/n but stopped when he saw Kotaro's glare. "A-Aha.. on second thought I might catch the cold..." he tossed Y/n the cover and sat back down nervously.

"Y/n just admit you have a cold. It's not like we're gonna tease you or something. We wanna help." Karino explained sincerely.

"I can't.." Y/n refused. She saw the not so well hidden worried look on Kotaro's stoic face.

'Your sick again? How pathetic can you get!'

"No.. I'm not sick."

'Your so useless Y/n.. I don't know why I married your sorry ass in the first place.'

"I'm sorry." Y/n spoke to herself. Apologizing to no one when she did nothing wrong. The hurtful words her ex-husband spoke were beyond heart breaking. He was supposed to love her in sickness or healthiness.

Karino raised his eye brow. "Who are you talking to? Sorry about what?" he wondered if it has anything to do with her past, but he didn't wanna pry again.

Kotaro walked back to Y/n with the tea. "It is hot, please be careful," he warned.

Sadly, Y/n took the cup and inhaled the steam. Why? Why were they being so caring towards her? When she got sick, she always took care of herself, since her husband told her not to show her face until she was better.

"Clearly, something is bothering you. Would you like to tell your bestie about it?" Kotaro sat in front of Y/n and waited for her to speak.

They all waited for her to speak and tell them what's bothering her. And when she spoke, they listened.

"So when I have a cold, I have to take care of myself." Y/n told the story. It felt reliving to get it off her chest. They all felt sorry for what she had to go through. There's nothing they could do, nor say to change what happened.

"So, where does this guy lives?" Isamu asked with a smile. "I'll beat him up and make him apologize 100 times!"

"Violence is not the answer, Sir Isamu." Kotaro said, sitting next to Y/n.

"But you always hit me with your sword—"

Kotaro cut off Isamu's sentence. "How are you feeing, lady L/n?" his small hand touched her forehead.

"Better actually. Thank you all for listening. I'm gonna go now."

"You mustn't stand!" Kotaro gently pushed Y/n back down. "Stay for a while longer."

"Wittle Kotaro!" Isamu blushed. "Your so caring! If I get a cold, will you take care of me too!?"

Kotaro sighed. "Aye. It is what a friend would do."

"Achoo!" Isamu 'sneezed' with a red face. "Oh no, could I have gotten a cold to? This can't beee~" he put his arm on his head dramatically.

Y/n and Karino looked at each other with a questioning face. "Not you too." Kotaro quickly made more tea and went over to Isamu. "Your face is quite red," he observed and sat the cup on the table.

Isamu tricked Kotaro and hugged him. "You do careeee! Such a caring, sweet, gentl—"

"You feind!" Kotaro grabbed his sword and poked Isamu in his stomach.

"Blegh—" Isamu pretend to be dead, released Kotaro and fell out on the floor.

"Is he dead?" Kotaro slowly crept up to Isamu's body, poking his ribs to see if he was alive.

Giving Isamu the chance to hug Kotaro once more. "I'm aliiiiiveee! See? You do care!"

"What's going on?" Y/n whispered to Karino who just shrugged with a perplexed face.

"No idea.."
