~ SORRRY THIS TOOK SO LONG I KEPT FORGETTING ABOUT IT LMAO ANYWAYS HOPE YOU ENJOY~

I watched as Jake frantically checked outside the window and made sure the door was locked.
He cleared his throat and walked over to Ms. Silvers and Grandma Q.

The two had been glaring at each other with their arms crossed, sitting at the only table that didn't have stacked chairs on it. It was around 10:30 and I wondered what excuse Hannah and I  would have to tell our parents when we got home. If they even noticed we were gone that is.

" How y'all 'doin? " he rubbed his hands together as if he were about to make one of his famous Jake-Ritos and smiled charmingly. The two didn't say a word and continued to keep their seemingly unbreakable eye contact.
" No? Okay then." he sighed under breath and walked over to Hannah and Kelly, behind me.

" Thanks for opening up for us, Jake." I heard Kelly gushingly thank him.
" Of course."

Darbie had came back from the pantry to talk to Kelly and Hannah. He got the hint and headed towards me. I felt his arms loosely wrap around my shoulders as he placed his chin on my head. I could faintly smell his cologne he always wore, I was gonna comment on it but he spoke before I could.
" You're hair smells good." he mumbled as he'd buried his mouth into my hair.

I chuckled as he kissed the top of my head. I'd purposely sprayed vanilla perfume in my hair, sense I knew it's his favourite.
" Thank y-" I was cut off by the door handle jiggling. I heard the sound of keys and someone on the other side. Jake quickly let go me and hesitantly went closer to the door. I held my breath as I awaited the arrival of the ' Problem At Your Door'.

" This wouldn't have happened if you'd just made up." Kelly gritted through her teeth.
Grandma Q and Ms. Silvers glanced at her before turning back to their glares.
" Blame her."

I gasped lightly as the lock on the door unlocked and someone had opened it.
" Mama P? " we all scoffed.

I was not expecting her. She was a problem for sure, a large one. But she was definitely wasn't who anyone was expecting. I guess Chuck really wasn't back.

" Oh, no, not you." Kelly huffed. Jake clenched his jaw and walked towards her.
" Nope." he tried to close the door but backed off after she glared at him with a,
" Ah-"

My sister crossed her arms and stood beside me.
" Well, looks like our bigger problem just showed up at the door."
" Nice to you, too, Hannah." she looked down at her feet so she didn't see the grin that ran across my face.

" Why would you come back here?" Jake asked angrily. I don't think anyone Mama P more than Jake did.

Mama P was like family to him, she was his mentor. When she froze the town she froze him, too. She also stole his bike which he used for his own small business, that he'd created inspired by her. It hurt to see him upset, it hurt to see everyone  upset.

I was never close with her, I personally never trusted or liked her. Hannah and I had that in common. Grandma Q and Ms. Silvers already had bad blood with her from when they were early teenagers in the 60s. Darbie, like most of us, also never trusted her. She did have us at one point, though, Mama P knew how to manipulate and lie better than anyone. She was selfish and sly but hid it from Jake and the whole town and at one point us, by smiling and handing out fresh samples at her café.
