The day after the Elimination Chamber, a grueling match in which you can't come out of without being hurt in some way. That's how it was when I woke the following morning and the pain meds wore off. It felt like I had been hit by a truck, and I was dreading having to get out of bed. Then as I'm laying there, I hear the rattle of a pill bottle and a chilly sensation touches my arm. I crack an eye open and see a water bottle and advil waiting.
"How long we're you waiting for me to wake up?" I question, before taking both.
"Not long." Trevor replies, kissing my shoulder.
"I feel like I've been hit by a truck."
"Yeah, that's not surprising." He chuckles. "You had me cringing the whole time last night."
"Now you know how I feel watching you." I say amusedly.
"But I haven't been in a chamber match."
"Yet."
"Some of your crazy moves make me cringe like that during regular matches." I add.
"Hey, we wouldn't have chose this career if we didn't know the risks, right?"
"Touché. Crazy acrobat you are."
"Guilty. You love me anyway though." He grins.
"True. Anyways though, tonight you finally get to be on the road with me full time. No more separate shows."
"I know. It's been a long time coming."
"The traveling together..it was nice to be sharing a room again. Even though after last night I was just in so much pain."
"Just being able to sleep with you in person was good enough." He shrugs. "You killed it last night though. I honestly thought you two were gonna get those titles." He adds.
"We definitely tried."
"Title or no title....I'll always be proud of you." He remarks before kissing me briefly. "Now, you lay there and wait for the advil to kick in and I'll order breakfast."
"I love youuuu." I sing as he slides away.
"I know." He chuckles. Trevor grabs the menu for room service and looks it over before grabbing the phone to place the order.
"Do you have to put a shirt on?" I ask as he goes to do so.
"You want me to answer the door shirtless?" He laughs.
"Well no, I guess not."
"I'll take it off again just for you." Trevor smirks.
"I feel special." I laugh.
"You know you are."
"Can't wait to find out what they have planned for your debut tonight. If it's a match, hopefully you win it." I remark, before sitting up.
"Yeah I hope so." He agrees, leaning against the dresser.
"Much bigger crowd than NXT."
"Uh yeah." He laughs.
"But that just means more of those who have become fans of you."
"Good point."
"But no one will love you like I do."
"Nope." Trevor leers at me with a smirk.
As soon as I start feeling better as the advil kicks in, room service arrives with the food. I get settled at the small table in the room as he comes back from the door with the food.
"Feeling better now?" He asks.
"Much. Thank goodness for advil." I smile a bit. "But also thank goodness for you. Always making sure I'm taken care off." I add.
"It's only fair, since you take care of me too." He kisses the top of my head before sitting down with me.
"It's one of my many jobs."
"A job with perks." He grins.
"Mmhm." I agree.
He wiggles his eyebrows at me and I can't help but laugh. "I can't with you sometimes." I laugh.
"Gotta keep things fun sometimes." He snickers.
"You have no problem with that."
"You know you enjoy it."
"Touché."
We both take our time eating, teasing each other and enjoying the morning. "God, I can't imagine what bruises I'll find when I go to get dressed."
"You might get more over the next day or so too. Sometimes it takes a little longer for them to show up." Trevor remarks.
"True." I nod.
"Hopefully they won't have you doing anything crazy tonight." He says once he's done with his food.
"Yeah I gonna have to be wrapped up."
He nods in agreement.
"But we'll find out what the plan is when we get there."
"Right."
"That was good." I remark when we finish.
"I agree, pretty good."
"Suppose we need to get ready go then right?"
"Probably should." He chuckles.
I hesitantly move from the chair and go over to my things, grabbing what I want to wear to the arena. "I feel you staring..." I laugh.
"Well I have a beautiful view."
"You need to get ready too you know."
"You know it won't take me that long." He smirks.
"This is true." I nod before heading into the bathroom.
He gets up and starts to get ready while I'm in the bathroom. He steps into the doorway and leans against the frame for a bit as I'm finishing up. I'm about to take a picture of my look as I always do and he sneaks in behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my shoulder. "Never fails." I laugh.
"It's my favorite part." He grins.
"Definition of man crush Monday." I say as I type it into the caption before tagging him and posting it.
He chuckles and gives me a kiss. Okay, should probably get going before we never end up leaving."
He agrees reluctantly and we both go grab our bags. We head out but in the meantime Eden slowly started to wake up her. She becomes aware enough that she knows something woke her but she's still drowsy and sore so she rolls onto her stomach, intent on falling back asleep. She stretches her arm out, only to come into contact with something. She squints her eyes and sees a soundly sleeping Fergal. That's when the events of last night flooded her memory. She bites her lip and spots the shiny title on the table, it being half the reason why she's sore. It wasn't long before he started to wake up himself. "Watching me sleep?" He questions.
"No you nerd. I think you moved and it woke me up." She murmurs.
"Sorry."
"You should be." She snorts, settling back down.
"How're you feeling?"
"Sleepy and sore." She yawns, closing her eyes.
"Well you were in a grueling match last night..." He trails off.
"That's only half the reason and you know it. Smartass."
"My title win called for a celebration." He smirks.
"You definitely got one." She snickers.
"I tried to not be so rough last night."
"You weren't doing anything I didn't ask you to. Did you hear me complaining?" She says amusedly.
"You never complain."
"Exactly."
"Can you imagine if we both won last night?" He asks, giving her a look.
"There might have been some noise complaints if that had happened." She laughs.
"Yeah, quite possibly."
"I'm surprised there weren't any last night to be honest with you." She snickers, stretching slowly.
"There probably was...who knows." He shrugs. "Oh well."
"Mmm. Ugh, I should probably get up and shower." She sighs reluctantly. "And don't give me that look either. We both know how showers go when we share."
Finn grins wickedly. "What? We still get clean and that's what showers are for, right?"
"And we both know you can't keep your hands off me." He chuckles.
"Pot meet kettle." She retorts.
"Touché."
"That's what I thought." She snorts as she carefully slides out of bed.
"The shower will help whatever sore muscles you have though. Definitely need it more than I do." He remarks as he watches her head to the bathroom.
"I feel you staring you know."
"Of course I am."
She looks over her shoulder and meets his gaze. The heat in his eyes makes her heart skip a beat. She bites her lip and turns away as she goes into the bathroom. She makes a decision and leaves the bathroom door wide open, knowing that Fergal won't be able to resist the unspoken invitation. And of course once she was in the shower, she heard the door close "Took you long enough." She laughs.
"You offered." Fergal snorts as he steps in behind her.
"Mmm, I did." She hums as she feels lips against her shoulder. "I expected you to be in here faster than that though." She snickers.
"Making sure you didn't change your mind." He mutters against her skin.
"Appreciate the idea but I'm go-mmm." The word 'good' she starts to say turns into a moan when he sucks gently on a particularly sensitive spot on her neck.
That causes the all too familiar smirk against her skin as he continues. She tips her head to the side to give him better access. One of her hands settles on the arm around her waist while the other hand finds its way into his hair. The shower turns into a round two from last night, going up until the warm water starts to turn cold. She snickers as Fergal swears and fumbles behind him to shut the water off.
"You'll survive."
"I told you this is what happens when we shower together." She adds, trying not to laugh "The water always ends up going cold."
"Yeah yeah." He rolls his eyes while pushing the curtain aside to grab towels.
"Just saying." She shrugs.
"You asked for it this time." He points out as he hands her a towel.
She sticks her tongue out and starts to dry off. "Am I gonna need the girls in hair and makeup to cover anything you left?" She asks curiously.
"I don't think so. They should be covered by your clothes or blamed on your match." Fergal smirks, looking her up and down.
"You left some in places easy to cover or blame on last night, didn't you?"
"Who me?" He grins.
"Yes, you."
"Unless there's an invisible vampire out there." She continues as she moves to look at herself in the mirror.
"If there was, he would be no match for the demon."
"Mmm true." She concedes while finding only a few marks in places that will be visible. "So, yeah you're right. You behaved for the most part."
Fergal gives her a satisfied smirk, eyeing the marks that won't be seen.
"Stop that. No round 3." She swats him with her towel.
"I was not thinking that."
"Mmm, sure. I know that look when I see it." She scoffs and slips past him into the room to get clothes.
"What look?" He asks, acting innocent.
"The one that ends up with us in a bed or something like that." She retorts. "Which we no longer have time for."
"Damn." She hears him mutter softly.
"You still have to go back to your own room and get changed and get your stuff." She reminds him.
"I know, I know." He reluctantly retrieves the clothes he wore last night and starts to get dressed. "I'll see you down in the lobby though."
"Mmm, better to wait until the arena if you don't want anyone getting ideas." She remarks.
"Gotcha."
"I'll check the hall for people." She says once they're both dressed.
"And...you're clear."
"Thanks. See you later." He says, slipping out of the room with his title in one hand.
She closes the door behind him and goes to get he things together for the night. She double checks that she has everything before heading downstairs. When she gets downstairs, she finds a lot of people waiting to check out before heading out to the arena. She finds Trevor and myself talking with some of the others while we wait. So she walks up to wait with us cause the three of us typically carpool. "Hey lovebirds." She teases lightly.
"Get up a little late huh?" I ask.
"Lil bit." She shrugs.
"It's understandable after last night. Woke up feeling like I was hit by a truck."
"Agreed." She laughs lightly.
"Why did we agree to that last night?" I ask in amusement.
"Because we're insane." She laughs.
"Nah, you wanted to be part of history." Trevor points out.
"That too." She shrugs.
"I definitely can't wait to go home after tomorrow."
"Oh I knowwww. Sounds amazing right now."
"Hopefully they don't have us doing anything too crazy tonight or tomorrow."
"They're usually pretty good about that so I think we'll be alright." She comments.
"You know we're definitely gonna go after those titles now."
"Hell yeah we are." She agrees, fist bumping me.
"Next Women's Tag Team Champions. For sure." Trevor declares.
"We have a cheerleader too." She teases him with a grin.
"Number one supporter." He nods as he hands over the keycard.
I smile and kiss his cheek. Eden laughs to herself at the cuteness. She hands over her keycard as well, and we all head out to the car. About 10 minutes later we pull into the arena and park. We get out and grab our things, waving to the fans who were already outside waiting, before we head inside. We go and drop our things off in the respective locker rooms before going to find out what was in the plans. We found out that for Eden and myself, we would be helping Sasha and Bayley from an attack by Nia and Tamina. And Trevor would be making his debut when he comes to Finn's aid as he's getting attacked by Lashley and Lio, which will end up turning into a match.
"I told you we'd be good." She tells me.
"True true."
"He gets the wild part." She pokes Trevor in the shoulder.
"Because I wasn't in a match last night." He chuckles.
"Exactly. It's your turn." She snickers.
"Crazy moves that he does in the ring." I remark.
"Hence why I said wild."
"Sets me apart from everyone else."
"I totally get it." Eden laughs. "Still can't get over you jumping clear over that top rope and to the ramp on NXT." She adds to him. "Superman, I swear."
He just grins sheepishly.
"I don't think anyone can get over that." I remark.
"Highlight reel." She says amusedly.
"Exactly."
"So what are you two going to do until show time?" She asks.
"I think he'll survive if we hang out and have girl time." I laugh.
Trevor pouts dramatically and she cracks up. "Poor thing." She teases.
"I'm sure there's people you wanna go see and hang out with." I point out to him.
"Yeah yeah." He chuckles, kissing my head.
"Go have fun."
"Love you." He gives me a kiss on the mouth before he leaves.
"You two are adorable."
"Thanks." I laugh.
"I hope to have that one day." She remarks as we walk to find some of the other girls.
"It'll happen one day. Think positive."
"I tried." She snickers.
"Got your eye on anyone though?" I nudge you.
"Mmm..." She shrugs nonchalantly.
"You totally do."
"Maaaybe."
"Whooo?"
"Oh no, if I say it then all the girls will know and I'll never hear the end of it." She shakes her head.
"You can tell me later when we're heading to the next city. I can keep a secret."
"We'll see." She laughs, gently scratching at one of the light marks she has without thinking about it.
We catch up with some of the girls in catering, joining them at the table, and they greet us. "How are you guys feeling today after last night?" We get asked.
"Sore for sure." Eden laughs.
"And how are the first ever Women's Tag Team Champs feeling?" I ask.
"Same."
"Can you believe the crowd reaction when it came down to the four of us?"
"That was so cool right?"
"That's when you know you've made an impact."
"Oh for sure." She agrees.
"We'll gladly face off again for those titles."
"Glaaaadly." Eden grins.
"But for now it looks like we'll be keeping Nia and Tamina from getting to you first."
"Oh darn."
"It'll be fun regardless."
"We almost always have fun. "
"Gonna be a good night. Even more so because guess who's debuting tonight?" I question.
"Awww, yayyy!" Somebody squeals as I grin proudly.
"No more separate shows for us finally."
"Now they're going to kill us with cuteness all the time." Eden teases.
"Not all the time."
"Almost all the time." She snickers. "At least that's what we see from your social media." She continues.
I blush a little and she just grins at me.
"He encourages it."
"It's mushy but adorable."
"You can tell how much love is there."
"For sure."
"Yeah...he's a very romantic person. Should've seen the first date." I agree.
"Oooh aww."
"Always manages to outdo the previous date. I don't know how, but he always thinks of something."
"See? It's so cute, it could kill you." She waves a hand in my direction.
"You met in NXT right?"
"Yep. He came in like a year after I did."
"Instant sparks." Eden interjects.
"Yeah pretty much." I agree.
"Anybody else have juicy gossip?"
Of course a few of the girls chime in with gossip that they have. And before we know it, it was about time to start getting ready for the show. We all start heading off to change, breaking into small groups.
"He goes crazy over your gear, doesn't he?" She asks me in amusement.
"Pretty much yeah." I laugh, blushing a little. "More places to hide around here. Let's hope he doesn't figure that out." I add in amusement myself.
"Oh I'm sure he will." She snickers.
"Probably scoping out places as we speak."
"Probably."
"The days off we have are just not enough I guess." I shrug.
"Never. They're always insatiable." She says amusedly.
"Now I think we're gonna have to go get taped up. Protect the already hurting spots...somewhat."
"Oh yeah, that's true."
We head out to do that before heading to the hair and makeup girls to get that done. Of course once we're with the glam squad girls, there's gossip and chatter going around.
"Ooh, bandaged up I see."
"Mostly just for cushion and support."
"Don't wanna get badly injured after all." I add.
"Yeah we don't need that." They laugh. "Had us on the edge of our seats last night."
"That was the goal." Eden grins.
"Always the goal."
"Yeah yeah that." She waves her hand with a laugh.
Eventually we were next and everything gets done. "As always, you ladies always do a great job."
"Y'all are magic. Seriously."
"We try."
"Byeee. Appreciate youuuu." Eden sings as we walk away.
"Where shall we go to watch the show?"
"Hmm. Good question." She muses.
"Probably decently close to gorilla so that we're there for when we're needed."
"Smart." She nods and we turn down a hall in that direction.
We find a spot relatively close, hanging around for the show to start. "There you are." I hear Trevor remark as he comes into view.
"Here I am." I laugh.
"Try to resist the urge to drag her off." She teases.
"Maybe later."
*Trevor gives me a grin with a little heat to it. She trie not to laugh as I blush.
"You found hiding spots, didn't you?"
"Who me?" He asks innocently.
"Yes you."
"I will neither confirm or deny that there might've been some exploring."
"You explored...that look you have gives it away."
"Busteddddd." She sings quietly.
"You know you can't hide anything from me...especially when it's written all over your face."
He shrugs and laughs. "Oh well." He hops up to sit next to me on the crate I was sitting on.
"PG13 with me around buddy. Remember the agreement." I remind Trevor with amusement as he pulls me into his lap while she's sprawled across the one next to ours.
"Yes, I know. Behaving, I swear."
"Good." She says as she gets as comfortable as she can.
"Until you can't take it anymore and drag me off to whatever hiding place you found." I laugh.
"Then I pity anyone who might come across that spot." She snickers.
"No one will find us." He says confidently.
"Mmm sure." She says amusedly. "I bet I would." She adds.
"She probably would. She's very sneaky." I concede.
"May have to test that."
"Please don't." Trevor makes a face.
"I would never, don't worry. I respect your privacy."
"If it happens on accident, I can't control that obviously." She adds.
"Well of course not."
"I like to explore so I make no guarantees." She shrugs.
"Very true." I nod.
"Is it time for the show to start or what? Ugh I hate waiting sometimes. " She sighs as she stretches slowly.
"You know they tape the shows they air on the network before the show. Main Event. I think it's almost over though."
"I hope so." She mutters. She then feels someone watching her and she glances up. She sees Drew looking at her from across the way. She smirks a bit and waves.
Soon the show did start and it started immediately with Hunter entering the ring. "Can you feel it? Can you feel it in the air? It is that time of the year, the excitement, the electricity, you can cut it with a knife. We are on the road to WrestleMania. The last 24 hours should be proof enough of the excitement that is happening right now. Last night, history was made. Sasha Banks and Bayley, inside the Elimination Chamber made history as they became the first ever WWE Women's Tag Team Champions."
"Not without a fight." Eden says as she sits up.
"We'll get them one day."
"Damn straight."
"Finn Balor beat "The Almighty" Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush in a Handicap Match to become the new Intercontinental Champion." Hunter continues.
"Thank god." Eden mutters.
"Kofi Kingston...Kofi Kingston captured the heart and the imagination of the world when he came this close...this close to becoming the WWE Champion last night. And then, Becky Lynch. The man came around last night and showed the whole world that she will not let a 60 day suspension or a knee injury prevent her from getting to Charlotte Flair or Ronda Rousey. Now, corporately, I have to say that if she does that again, she will be arrested and prosecuted. But personally, I have to say it was pretty damn cool."
"Can't complain." I snicker.
"I mean, it was. And speaking of pretty cool, it was released on ESPN this morning. The first of the announced inductees into the WWE Hall of Fame for this year, D-Generation X. Myself, Shawn Michaels, X-PAC, Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, and "The Ninth Wonder of the World" Chyna. But if that isn't enough to prove to you that it is the road to WrestleMania, well I am about to pour gas on the fire. As a lot of people know, my responsibilities don't end here with Raw and SmackDown, I oversee NXT's—let me try that one more time. It's live, there are no screw ups. I oversee WWE's third global touring brand, NXT. So it is my pleasure right now to introduce you to some people who will be making their debut tonight on Raw from NXT. They will all be in action tonight and we will be starting with a man that has redefined what aerial combat means and earned the nickname, "The One and Only". Ricochet."
All I can do is grin in excitement. Eden grins and taps his leg with her foot.
"Redefine aerial combat...definitely. You do things most can't."
"I try." He chuckles.
"In addition to Ricochet right here tonight, you will be seeing a man who is one of the fastest, most destructive strikers I have ever seen, the "Dutch Destroyer" Aleister Black. Also in action, a man so technically proficient, he has earned the nickname, Johnny Wrestling. The NXT North American Champion, Johnny Gargano will be here. And the man who is sadistic and remorseless and is also the NXT Champion, Tommaso Ciampa. There is a saying in NXT, the future is now. Well, you will see the future tonight. But right now, all hell is about to break loose. Those tables are there for a reason. Because there is a Table Match about to happen right now. Featuring the former general manager of Monday night raw, Baron Corbin. And his opponent, The Monster Among Men, Braun Strowman."
"Ooh, somebody's getting smushed." She laughs.
"Friday as you like to call him." I snicker.
"Girl fridayyyyyy." She sings.
"Yeah this ain't gonna turn out good for him."
"Nope. Asshole pancake." She smirks.
Out first was Strowman, followed by Corbin and Corbin takes his time getting to and into the ring before they go to a commercial break. After the break the match began. In the end, it was Corbin going through a table and Strowman winning the match. As Strowman is leaving, he meets up with Heyman. They exchange some words before Strowman grabs him by the throat.
"I'm an advocate...ah you're hurting me. Ow! You're hurting me! Let me go, please. I can't breathe."
She snorts in amusement. She hears Drew chuckle quietly and she decides in her boredom to go sit next to him.
"Hey you." He greets her.
"Hey yourself." She smiles. "So what do you have going on tonight?" She asks.
"Small confrontation with Ambrose, which will lead to a match being booked for later. You?"
"Eh, we get to help during a confrontation." She shrugs.
"Sometimes you can make a statement that way. Let guess, after last night it has to do with Sasha and Bayley?"
"Smart man." She laughs.
"Depending on what happens, you may get a title opportunity after it. I mean if I'm being honest after last night, it should be you four at it first."
"Thanks for the confidence. Who knows who they'll let after it though."
"You can still make a statement, stake your claim to it."
"You'll just have to wait and see." She smirks a bit.
"Give you props though. The chamber is no joke."
"It so isn't. I'm pretty sore still. Got a few bruises too." She agrees, showing Drew a few bruises.
"Yeah comes with the reputation of the chamber." He chuckles.
"Definitely makes you feel like a badass when you can say you walked out of there on your own feet though."
"Oh for sure." He agrees.
"And to be part of history for the women is pretty damn cool." She adds with a grin.
"Definitely." He nods.
"You men get to have much more bad ass things." She lightly smacks his shoulder.
"You're getting there though. You're almost getting to do everything we do."
"Mmm true. But I want more. I like the adrenaline." She grins.
"One step at a time."
"Boooooring." She laughs. As they're talking, neither of them notice there's eyes on them.
"So, what do you think is going on there?" I ask Trevor.
"Something could be brewing." He remarks quietly.
Of course Fergal was also nearby talking to people and he couldn't help but notice her and Drew as well. But we didn't notice him there. "I'm definitely asking her later." I nod.
"I figured as much." Trevor chuckles.
"Got any fun plans for the rest of the week?" She asks Drew.
"Always nice to go home for a few days."
"Why's that?"
"Chicago is coooold."
"Ohhh, yeah now I see why."
"Luckily I have another place in Florida so I'm going there instead."
"It's the place to be."
"For sure. Palm trees, sunshine, and beaches, who wouldn't want to?" She says amusedly.
"Facts."
"Swimming and relaxing in the jacuzzi is probably my agenda for the time off."
"Always fun to do when it's the warmer weather isn't it?"
"For sure." She agrees with a grin.
"Is it quiet where you live? Cause there's quiet and then living near the city with all the noise."
"In between I'd say. There's noise for sure but most of the time it isn't overwhelming." She replies.
"That's always good."
"Yeah I like it. I don't think anybody really escapes spring break season but that's just a given since it's Florida." She laughs.
"Very true."
"Not a fan of the frat boys then?" Drew asks with an amused grin.
"God no. The looks I get, ew. It feels so weird to get checked out by guys almost half my age." She wrinkles her nose and he laughs.
"But they probably still do if they see you on tv."
"Well sure but I don't have to see that!" She smacks his shoulder.
"What about when they're at shows like tonight?" He chuckles.
"There's enough people here of other ages that it's easier to ignore it."
"True true."
They keep talking and Drew's arm ends up on the back of her chair. Fergal has to fight back the urge to glare.
"Something is definitely brewing here, and I'm gonna find out." I remark.
"I almost feel bad for her." Trevor snickers.
"Well I guess this means since she's over there, you don't have to worry about behaving...which you already know cause you're getting touchy."
He grins against my shoulder, kissing my skin briefly. "Behaving to a point..." He mutters.
"You can drag me off later." I say amusedly.
"Planning on it."
"I figured." I laugh.
After Heyman was coming towards the end of his talking, the crowd started to chant 'Burn it down'. There's not enough fire in Seth Rollins' soul to burn down Suplex City."
That's when Finn goes out and interrupts him, heading to the ring. Eden perks up a little and watches curiously. After the break they show a video on his match last night.
"It's been a while since I held one of these championships. And boy does it feel good. You know, growing up watching the greats like Razor Ramon, The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair. It's been a dream of mine to hold this championship. And I am proud to continue its legacy as your Intercontinental Champion. And I plan on defending this title..." He gets cut off by Lio Rush.
"You don't deserve to be the Intercontinental Champion. Bobby Lashley deserves to be the Intercontinental Champion."
"How about no." Eden rolls her eyes.
"Looks like I'm coming up soon. Unfortunately I have to move you." Trevor points out.
"Aww." I pout a little. "I was comfortable." I add.
"I'll make it up to you." He chuckles with a smirk.
"Oh I know you will."
I reluctantly move from his lap. Trevor gets up and gives me a thorough kiss and a "love you" before he leaves. That's when Lashley attacks Finn from behind. Lio heads down to the ring to join in on the assault. After Lio hits the frog splash on him, that's when Trevor's music hits and he comes out to help. He tuck and rolls to avoid Lio, before jumping up onto the side of the ring, kicking Lashley in the side of the head before hitting a moonsault onto Lio. He jumps back up onto the ring, launches off the top rope and drop kicks Lashley so he rolls out of the ring. He goes to Finn's aid and helps him to his feet, challenging Lashley & Lio to a match if they wanna be starting fights.
"Get it Trev."
The match was made official during the break and started once Raw was back on the air. It started with Ricochet and Lio. They circle before Lio pushed him and he pushes Lio back. Lio then grabs him in a side headlock only for a short time before he quickly gets out of it and does the same to him, keeping in the center of the ring. Lio starts fighting back, pushing him into the ropes and off of him. Ricochet steps over him and turns, Lio ducking the arm, ducking the leg and the moves are matched between them. It comes to the point where Lio sends him flying but he lands on his feet after a flip.
"Like a cat, landing on his feet."
Lio is almost in awe before he goes to kick him but he grabs the foot, leaving Lio hopping. He flips Lio and he lands on his feet and he ducks every move Ricochet throws at him. Lio throws him into the ropes and he comes back and rolls/flips over his back, rolls through, flips back and and sends him flying before dropkicking him. Lio falls back and tries to compose himself in the corner and Lashley is just looking at him in disbelief. That's when he tags in and they circle before Ricochet gets Lashley in a side headlock. However, Lashley manages to pick him up with ease and slams him back down. He picks him up and grabs the arm, twisting it before yelling at Lio. He keeps on him, now twisting the hand. Ricochet manages to get to his feet, roll and the flip out of the hold and elbows him. He keeps with the elbows and goes to send Lashley into the corner but he blocks it and sends Ricochet into it instead. He charges at him, only for Ricochet to get a foot up which he catches but ends up getting kicked in the head anyway. Ricochet tuck and rolls, dropkicking Lashley out of the ring. He goes off the ropes, flips so he's on his hands, bounces off the ropes and poses in the center of the ring like his entrance. With Lashley looking on in awe, he stares him down with a grin and winks, motioning for him to get back in the ring.
"The sass." I giggle.
"The sass is real." Eden says from where she is.
"Yes, yes it is." I reply, laughing.
Eventually Finn gets tagged in and so did Lio. At one point Lio slithered away almost scared and tagged Lashley back in.
"Scaredy-cat." Eden snorts.
They circle briefly before Lashley kicks him. He grabs him and throws him into the corner, kicking him again. He stumbles out of the corner and gets hit with a suplex, Lashley covering and Finn kicking out. Lashley gets him in the center of the ring, in a headlock. He eventually gets to his feet, but gets brought back down. He gets to his feet again, fighting back and trying to create separation, but Lashley plants him face first. He covers and he kicks out. Bobby is now frustrated and tags Lio in. With Finn leaning against the ropes, Lio kicks him before putting his leg to the back of his neck and pushing his throat onto the bottom rope until the ref gets him off. He gets to his feet and he Irish Whips him into the ropes, Lio hitting a sunset flip over him, but he hits a basement dropkick. Ricochet is reaching for the tag desperately. Finn gets to his feet and grabs the left foot of Lio as he's struggling to get to Bobby for the tag. He gets to one foot and is just mere fingertips away from Lashley when he gets pulled him back and Finn drops him. He has now taken control, repeatedly stomping on him. He stares Lashley down before grabbing Lio and throwing him into the corner, chopping him in the chest.
"Get him Ferg."
He throws Lio into the opposite corner and chops him in the chest again. Even Ricochet cringes at the chop. He does it again for a third time. He signals for one more and does it for a fourth time. He then hits the Slingblade and dropkicks him into the corner. He climbs to the top but Lashley was ready to stop him. So Finn gets down and quickly takes him out. That was enough of a distraction for Lio to take him out by the back of the knee.
"Ooh." Eden cringes.
"Yeah that definitely hurts." Drew cringes as well.
"Oh yeah...sympathy pain."
Lashley follows him and throws him into the barricade. Ricochet is standing not too far away and Lashley starts trash talking. Back into the ring and Lashley drops Finn again, this time walking right over to Ricochet to get in his face.*
"You'll be sorry when he gets that tag in...." I scoff.
Lashley covers and Finn kicks out. Another headlock in the center of the ring and he gets to his feet, reaching for the tag to Ricochet . Lashley doesn't allow it and sends him back outside the ring. He charges at him, just to be shoulder blocked in the gut. He also takes out Lio before flips over Lashley, hoping for a pin attempt, but Lashley is holding on tight to the ropes. He stomps on him and then drops him, attempting to pin him again but he kicks out. During the break, Lashley kept on him and after the break he's reaching for the tag but Lashley stops him. The crowd starts chanting 'Let's go Balor' to try and encourage him to get up. He slowly gets to his feet and he frees himself just enough to reach for the tag. Just fingertips away and he  punched Lashley and reaches again, does it for a third time but gets sent into Lashley's corner.
Lashley charges at him only to be met by his feet to the face. He takes out Lio and then goes for the tag again but Lashley picks him up out of the air and drives him into the corner. He soon goes and tags Lio in, Ricochet trying to encourage himto tag him. Lio keeps him grounded before getting to their feet and he hits him with a right hand before talking trash. He continues to do so which infuriates Finn , to the point where he drops Lio. That's when Ricochet reaches for the tag and Finn was just mere fingertips away and Lio prevents the tag.
"Always fingertips away."
"Come onnnn."
Lio gator rolls him back to his own corner and tags in Lashley. Lashley starts trash talking to Ricochet and prepares Finn for a powerbomb, but he manages to get down. He gets the double leg takedown before stomping with both feet onto his chest. Now he tags Ricochet in and he starts cleaning house, taking Lio down with clotheslines. Into the ropes and he hits Lio with a neckbreaker. Now in the corner and he drives his shoulder into the midsection, jumps off the top rope and delivers with a missile dropkick. He does the same thing off the ropes and knocks Lashley to the floor. Getting the crowd hyped, he launches himself over the top rope and takes Lio out on the outside before throwing him back into the ring. Lashley starts coming for him so he backs away and then runs. He hops up onto the barricade and flips off, landing behind Lashley before Finn gets up and dropkicks Lashley into the barricade. Ricochet hits a springboard off the top rope before he sets Lio up for his finisher. He climbs to the top before delivering his 630 spin. He covers and gets the win.
"Yayyyyyy."
"Well if you excuse me ladies, this is where I have to go. Segment is coming up soon." Drew says, standing and pulling on the coat he wears to the ring.
"Have fun." She smiles.
Finn immediately enters the ring and they celebrate. Eventually He tells him to enjoy his debut win as he exits the ring to give him the spotlight. Eden moves over to sit with me as I wait for Trevor to come back. "So....what was going on with you and Drew huh?"
"Nothing really. He's just fun to talk to." She shrugs.
"And that's all?"
"Mmhmm. Don't think I don't know what you're doing." She says amusedly.
"What?"
"Trying to see if you could play matchmaker."
"I swear I saw some flirting going on."
"Eh, harmless." She shrugs.
"Still gonna get you to tell me who you got your eye on later..."
"Good luck with that." She laughs.
Nattie is seen backstage talking with Hunter until Drew interrupts. Drew wanting Seth, demanding Hunter give him Seth at Mania. That's when Dean comes in.
"I'm not doing anything tonight. What about me?" Dean asks before slapping Drew and walks away.
"Oop. That was quite the smack."
"You uh...still want Seth or you want me to change that over to Dean Ambrose?"
"Change the damn match."
"Oooh, he's angry."
"Oooooh." She says dramatically.
It wasn't too much longer before Trevor came back. "What're we 'oooh-ing' about?"
"Drew wanted a match with Seth. Dean came by, sassed him and smacked him. Now Drew's pissed and changed to a match with Dean." She recites what just happened.
"Ohh, you figure out what was going on?" He asks me.
"It's no use...my tactics aren't working this time." I shrug.
"There was nothing to work on." She snorts amusedly.
"Well he thought something was brewing too you know."
"Looked flirty to me." Trevor comments.
"Harmless flirting." She roll her eyes. Thats when her phone goes off. She looks at the screen and stands. "I'll be back before our segment." She remarks.
"Okay, have fun." I call as she walks away.
"Does that seem a little odd to you?" I ask Trevor once she's out of earshot.
"Little bit." He agrees.
"Hmm...something is definitely going on."
"For sure." He nods.
"But anyways...hey, you got a win...on your debut in your first match here."
"I know." Trevor grins.
"I am so happy for you."
"Thanks babe." He chuckles after I kiss him.
"If we didn't have to go right to the next city after the show, we'd be celebrating."
"Soon though." He smirks.
"Make up for it tomorrow I'm sure. Cause who knows what they have planned for you on SmackDown."
"Right."
"Even if there's nothing for me or me and Eden...that's fine. Be there to support you."
"I appreciate that babe. You're the best cheerleader."
"One of the many jobs I have." Trevor kisses my head and settles back into his previous spot, pulling me into his lap again.
"In a bit I'll have to go again. Interviews I think." He points out.
"Then I'll go with you."
"Sounds good."
"I like watching them."
"I know you do." He chuckles.
"So, what was it like in front of the larger crowd?"
"Pretty cool, not gonna lie." Trevor grins.
"Bigger rush than the smaller crowd in NXT."
"Oh for sure."
"Now imagine pay per views....WrestleMania.."
"That will be freaking crazy."
"Fourth something days away."
"Something like that. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens between now and then. " He comments.
"A lot can happen."
"Definitely."
In the meantime Eden found Fergal where he said to meet him. "Okay, what's up?"
"And what's with the look on your face?" She adds, raising an eyebrow at the  slight scowl on his face.
"I may have seen you and Drew earlier..."
"Jealous much?" She snorts, teasing.
"I'm not jealous."
"Your face says otherwise."
Fergal scowls more. "Mmm, jealousssss." She sings, leaning against the wall. "We we're just talking...as coworkers tend to do."
"It was absolutely harmless. Not my fault if you took offense." She adds. "Now will you be okay?" She continues.
Fergal calms a bit. "There's nothing going on?" He asks.
"No, I would give you a heads up if there was. Just like we agreed to."
"Right. I should've remembered that."
"Mmhmm. So you can calm down now." She smirks a bit.
"So, came out with the win tonight."
"Yeah I saw that. Feeling alright?" She asks.
"You know, the usual." He shrugs.
"Just checking. That kick to the knee looked painful."
"Yeah just a tad. I'll be alright though."
"Good. Maybe if you sat down, that would help." She motions to the equipment box next to them in the corner they're tucked into. "What would you do without me around?" She asks as they both sit.
"I don't think I want to know." He chuckles.
"Do they have you doing anything for the show tonight?" He asks.
"Oh Luna and I just keep Nia and Tamina away from Sasha and Bayley. Super easy." She shrugs.
"They probably don't want you two more hurt than last night."
"True. I'm not complaining.  It gives me a break."
"We all need a break sometimes."
"Don't get any bright ideas mister. I still have to be on TV soon." She says as Fergal's arm slides around her hips.
"Damn."
"Trust me, if it wasn't for that..." She trails off, leaning over to nip at his ear.
"If only we could leave early and sneak out of here."
She yelps as he pulls her into his lap anyway. "You'd love that wouldn't you." She laughs, letting her hands rest on his chest.
"More than you know."
"Mmm, the face says it all. " She smirks a bit. "But you'll have to wait until we're in the next city." She adds. Fergal curses, hiding his face in her neck.
"You'll be fine. If I can make it, so can you."
"I don't want to." He mutters before kissing her neck.
"Oh no you don't. Out of the neck before you get us both in trouble." She pulls him away from her neck and kisses him solidly on the mouth. Once she feels like it was enough to hold him over for the rest of the night, she pulls away. "Will that hold you over?" She questions.
"For now I guess." He mumbles.
"It'll have to do."
"You can find me later for another after I'm done if you're sneaky about it." She adds.
"Oh I can be, and I will."
"I might regret saying that now but oh well."
Then they hear someone off in the distance asking where he was. "Shoot, I forgot. Got an interview to do with Trevor about our match."
"See you in a bit then." She kisses him briefly as she climbs off his lap.
"I'll find you." He nods.
Fergal leaves and she plops back onto the equipment box to wait a few minutes so she doesn't seem suspicious. When she gets back to where we all were earlier, she was just in time as both he and Trevor appeared on the screen with Charly. I was nowhere to be found so she assumed I went with and just stayed out of camera view. She sprawls out where she was before, getting comfortable to watch.
"Excuse me, gentlemen. We just saw Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa get a very big win over the Raw Tag Team Champions, The Revival. But, you know what, let's not talk about their accomplishment right now. Let's talk about Finn, what you've been through these past 24 hours. Last night, picking up the Intercontinental Championship, congratulations by the way. And tonight, getting that hard fought victory with your friend right here."
"Well, you know Charly, everything you said is 100% fact. I had my night last night at Elimination Chamber. But tonight, is all about this man right here, Ricochet. Welcome to Monday Night Raw." He says before starting to walk away.
"Thank you man, I appreciate it. You know, you can envision how you arrive to your dreams and live your goals, but no matter how many scenarios you play out in your head, it never goes exactly like you planned. But I can guarantee once you achieve your goals, and once you live your dreams, I can guarantee you it's gonna feel better than anything you could ever imagine. And look at me, I'm proof, we're at Monday Night Raw. I'm from Paducah, Kentucky, we're at Monday Night Raw and...I can go on for days. But honestly I'll just leave you guys with this...and that's...if you think you've seen the last of me, you're just seeing the beginning. I promise I will show the entire WWE Universe why there is one and only Ricochet."
I wait for them to say it's clear before walking over. "Nice one." I smile at him.
"And now we should be getting back cause Eden and I are coming up soon."
"Lead the way." Trevor says, taking my hand. Just as we got back, Sasha and Bayley were already on their way out to the ring so that meant we would be up soon.
"Good timing." She says as she spots us.
"No, he did not drag me off yet." I laugh.
"Yet." She snickers.
"Maybe after this."
"I figured as much."
"Thank you guys so much. I'm already feeling it, but as you can tell, last night...if you didn't see all of our crying pictures, that it was a very emotional night for both of us so. I was at a total loss for words. I honestly cannot believe that WE are here right now. We are your first ever WWE Tag Team Champions."
"Wow, this is so crazy. It still feels like a dream. But it's not a dream anymore. It's here. We did this. You did this. We all did this. And it's so crazy just to think how far we've come. From the beginning of NXT, to making history down there. To now, continuing to make history up here. And we've always done it together."
"Everything we've done has been together. We've had so many matches together, we've traveled the globe together, we went from hating each other to loving each other. We felt every single emotion together."
"And it's true, because we have the same dream. The same vision, the same goal. And I can't imagine doing this with anybody else but you, because we are not afraid. We are legit, born to do this."
"And we talk about this all the time, almost every single day, that it took us going to war with each other to finally realize that it's together...together we're changing the world. So trust us when I say that this just the beginning, because we are taking over the world, and we plan on being champs for a very long time."
"You can wiiiiish." She sings quietly.
"We have put our heart and soul helping to create this tag team women's division. So we plan on defending these titles against anybody. Past, present, future, here on Raw, SmackDown, and even NXT."
"Most importantly, we recognize and we respect how special these titles are, not just to us, to Sasha Banks and Bayley, but to the entire Women's evolution. And trust us when I say that there is no stronger connection than the Boss and Hug Connection."
"And you can bank on that."
Sasha's music goes off for a short time before Nia's does and she walks out with Tamina. Eden bounces in place, getting antsy.
"Ugh stop. Please just stop. Boooo. Nobody wants to sit here with this nauseating love fest that you guys got going on. I'll give it to you, congratulations on being the first ever Women's Tag Team Champions. And that's women's with an 'E' Sasha, learn about it. But, you know you're cute with your matching outfits and stuff and whatnot. I just don't get it. Now Bayley, I don't wanna ruin your celebration. I mean, this is the best you'll ever get. But, everybody knows that Sasha Banks only cares about Sasha Banks. And we also know, history proves it, that anytime she wins a title, she loses it on her very first defense."
"Rude." I scoff.
"Ouch." Eden raised an eyebrow.
"Face it girls, last night you got lucky. But tonight, that luck is about to run out." Nia and Tamina head for them In the ring, but Sasha and Bayley kick them away. Nia tries again but Sasha gets her in the Bank Statement while under the ropes and Tamina pulls her to safety. That's when we're given the cue and we run out, and attack Nia and Tamina from behind. Once we take them out, we enter the ring and stand across from Sasha and Bayley, the titles on the ground between us. Eden folds her arms over her chest and eyes the title closest to her foot. We give each other a look, before reaching down and grabbing them. We step forward to hand them over, getting wary looks from Bayley and Sasha. We leave the ring and head back up the ramp, walking back through the curtain. "And now we can chill. I'm sure you're disappearing for a while." She says once we're clear.
"Most likely...he's been eager all night."
"Try not to scar anyone." She snickers as Trevor pops up at my side.
"We would never."
"Mmhmm. See you in a while." She giggles as we head off.
She decides to go roam in another direction to see if she stumbles upon Fergal.
"Okay, so where's this spot of yours you found?" I question. Trevor grins and takes my hand, pulling me along. "Well I'm glad I'm in ring gear and not heels, or else you'll be carrying me with how fast you're going." I say in amusement.
"I probably would." He laughs.
"You definitely would."
"Guilty." He shrugs. "Aha, here it is." Trevor ducks into a hidden corner behind a stack of large boxes. "Now we have some privacy." He grins.
"You really had a whole thought process with finding this spot, didn't you?"
"Yup." He agrees, pulling me into him.
"Remember, you do still have to behave to a point because we're still at work."
"Oh I know." Trevor mutters before kissing me. I could tell how eager he was just from his actions. My arms wrap around his neck to hold him closer and his hands start wandering again. I arch into his touch and the kiss gets more heated. He pulls away for a moment so we both could have air, before he buries his face in my neck. My head falls to the side as Trevor starts kissing my neck. "It's been a while..." He mumbles.
Before I could even respond, all I feel is just a light nip on my skin. I have to refrain from making noise even though he caught me by surprise. He snickers as I cling to him more, my knees going weak as he focuses on the sensitive spot on my neck. He does end up stopping in order to to help me stand back up properly after I just felt my knees getting weaker. "Okay, I don't think we want to melting into a puddle. At least not here." He chuckles.
"Probably a smart idea." I mumble after a pause. "Been a while since that's happened." I add.
"Exactly why I did it." Trevor smirks. "Gonna be able to walk?" He asks.
"I may need a few minutes."
"Alright." He laughs, hugging me against him.
"There's a mark, isn't there?"
"Probably will be."
"And I have to figure out how to hide that for the rest of the night."
Trevor reaches up and moves my hair.
"Now only if it'll stay."
"Should, I think."
"It won't if you keep playing with it, goof."
"Oops, my bad."
"One of your favorite things to do. It's alright."
"Feeling better now?" He asks amusedly.
"Much."
"Want to go back to where we were sitting?"
"Yeah, sounds good. I'm sure the show is just about over."
"Yeah probably." He agrees as the two of us head that way.
In the meantime, Eden managed to find Fergal, and they ended back up in the same hiding spot. He's already got her in his lap again, kissing her while his hands roam over her hips and up her back. "Thank god the show is almost over." He mumbles.
"Mmm, planning on trying for a noise complaint again?" She murmurs as he pulls away, trailing his lips along her jaw.
"What can I say? Can't get enough."
"I can tell. You're a little riled up tonight."
"It's that time away from you all day..."
"You poor thing."
"But just imagine if I end up one half of the tag team champions. Cause it looks like the storyline is heading in that direction." She adds.
"I'm already thinking about the celebration." He grins wickedly.
"Mania would be nice..." She trails off.
"That would be amazing."
"But that's the goal ultimately...win the titles at Mania." He points out.
"Right." She agrees, humming as he kisses down her neck.
"And then if I keep the title till Mania and maybe defend it successfully..." He trails off.
"Double the reason to have fun." She smirks.
"Exactly my thoughts."
"Deal. You better not mark my neck right now. Everybody and their mother will figure us out." She pinches Fergal's side as he sucks on the soft spot beneath her ear.
"Now how would they figure it out?" He chuckles.
"Because of that smug look on your face."
"They don't know we sneak off."
"I think Luna is getting suspicious of something going on. She'd probably think it was Drew though."
"Oh?"
"She saw us talking just like you did. She likes playing matchmaker."
"Ohhh."
"Trevor is getting suspicious too."
"So if we're going to keep this agreement going, you're going to have to watch the marks." She adds.
"Well you can let them think it's Drew if you let me get away with it."
"You would so let him take the fall." She can't help but laugh.
"If it lets me get away with things, so be it. They won't go telling people so it'll never get back to him."
"Mmm, true I guess." She concedes.
"So...?"
"....fine." She sighs amusedly. He cheers silently before going back to her neck before starting to nip lightly. By the time he's satisfied, she's basically a melted puddle in his lap.
"You alright?" He chuckles.
She snaps out of her daze and kisses him hard. "You are so lucky we're at work."
"Not for much longer though."
"You're getting paid back, believe me."
"It's worth it."
She kisses him thoroughly again. "We should probably check how much time is left."
"Yeah, good idea."
"The sooner we get to the hotel, the better." She mutters.
"Agreed."
She reluctantly slides off his lap. "So, see you at the next hotel?" She questions.
"For sure." Fergal agrees.
She composes herself and adjusts her gear before walking off. She heads for the locker room to get changed. When she gets there, she find me already changing myself.
"There you are. I was wondering where you went." I comment. "You like disappeared." I laugh.
"I was exploring." She shrugs.
"Ah, gotcha."
"I assume you didn't scar anybody." She teases.
"No, he found a good spot."
"Sounds like fun." She giggles .
"I don't know what it was but he was going crazy."
"He was probably riding the high of a good debut." She says amusedly
"Maybe."
"Or maybe he was just in a mood, guys are like that sometimes." She shrugs.
"Particularly mornings I find."
"Absolutely."
"Not today though. Probably cause he knew I was in too much pain from last night." I shrug.
"They make smart decisions sometimes."
"He was right there with advil and water though when I woke up."
"Aww. That's sweet."
"So yeah, probably making up for it later."
"Yeah probably. " She giggles. "Though it looks like he already started after he dragged you off...." She adds.
"I told him that wouldn't stay hidden." I say, knowing she's talking about the mark on my neck.
"Oops."
She laughs at the pretend grumpy face I make. After changing, she sits and leans down to tie her shoes since she changed into more comfortable clothing. "You have one on your neck too."
"Heh, um..." She blushes a little.
"That's what happened for the whole time you were gone. Who....wait...oh I knew something was going on with you two."
"I'm not saying a word."
"Good for you though."
"No mentioning this to anybody else." She points at me.
"I would never. You know this."
"Just making sure."
"You can trust me."
"I know."
"So he's who you've had your eye on then?"
"Mmm." She tries to give a vague answer so I'll keep assuming that she's talking about Drew.
"I knew it."
"Trying to be private." She shrugs.
"Right right."
"So no talking about it to anyone, even him. Please."
"You know I would never."
"Thanks."
After making sure we had everything, we head out to the car. As we get to the doors, we find Trevor waiting for us. He holds the door open and we walk out first before he follows. We out all of our things in the trunk before heading to the next city.
