I could tell they were studying me, but I wasn't going to show my weakness," I thought to myself. After a couple of questions, they informed me that I had gotten the job. To be honest, sometimes I wished all interviews were this easy.

Lost in my own thoughts, I completely forgot I was still in the office until one of the men's voices snapped me out of my day dreaming .

"Are you going to leave, or do we have to make you?" he asked, annoyance evident in his tone. I don't know why, but that remark really pissed me off.

"Oh, I'm sorry. I shouldn't keep you waiting any longer. I'm deeply sorry," I retorted, my words dripping with sarcasm.

Under my breath, I whispered2, "Dickhead."

Without waiting for their response, I promptly exited the room. I didn't want to risk getting fired on the same damn day I got the job.

As I stormed out of the office, my heart raced with a mix of anger and defiance. How dare they frickin speak to me like that? I had just landed the job, but their disrespectful attitude made me question whether it was even worth it. I took a moment to gather my thoughts outside, trying to regain my composure.
