5. RE:Retribution

Chapter 11

No One's POV:

  Hope carefully walks down the stairs shielding Becky from seeing the dead clone passing by Ada who seems taken a back from the toddler.

   "Mama, who she?" Becky pulls back to sign and shyly points at Ada who's glancing at her as she talks to Alice.

   "That's mama's and grandma's friend. Her names Ada," Hope gently tells her while signing and Becky nods before leaning her head back on Hope's shoulder.

They all head towards a nice house that's a little destroyed since Becky told them that this was their house. Hope gently set her down and Becky grabs her hand before pulling her mama towards her room.

  She grabs her favorite backpack and gives it to Hope who fills it with a few pairs of clothes, Becky's favorite bear that she ran to get from her parents room and the small photo album.

   "I gotta go potty, mama," Becky signs doing the little bathroom dance making Hope smile gently.

   "Ok, come on. Let's go potty," Hope tells her and guides her to the bathroom where she waits outside as Becky goes.

  When Hope knows she's ok, she sped over to Ada and pins her to the wall by her throat. "You knew didn't you?!" She angrily yells and Ada holds onto her arm to try and relieve the pressure.

  "Y-yes but she's a clone so she's not real. I could show you a dozen just like her in cold storage. If we'd leave her behind it wouldn't be a great loss," Ada strains out making Hope's eyes glow in anger.

  She lifts Ada higher and snarls, "she is my cub! I am not leaving her behind!" It's true the moment Hope connected eyes with Becky everything in her screamed that's mine, my cub, my baby! Alice winced slightly and carefully set a calming hand on her daughter's shoulder who glances at her.

   "Who else knew?" Hope questions as she calms down slightly but Ada looks down and stays quiet.

  Hope hits the wall by Ada's head and grits out, "who else knew?" She feels her fangs wanting to come out from how angry she is.

   "J-just me and Albert," Ada finally tells her making Hope's eyes widen before they turn dark in anger.

  "Weady! I was fast, wasn't I?" Hope calms down as she hears the voice of her daughter and she leans in real close next to Ada's ear.

   "Yes, you were, sweetheart," Alice tells her with a smile blocking her view from seeing Hope and Ada. Becky hugs her legs gently before turning to her mama.

  "I will deal with you and him later!" She angrily whispers in her ear before letting go and turning to her daughter who's grinning up at her cutely.

"Hey, princess. You ready to go?" Hope softly spoke/signs to her and Becky nods with a giggle, "alright let's go!" Becky grabs ahold of Hope's hand and Alice's as they all walk out of the house.

   They stop suddenly as Jill and her soldiers stare at them menacingly. Hope tightens her hold on her daughter's hand as she see's a clone of Rain, Shade, Kmart, and Carlos.

"Mommy? Mom? Gampa?" Becky questions looking at them confused before looking up at her mama.

"He's not your grandpa," Alice states eyeing all of them in distaste. Hope stares at Jill with a look seeing as she doesn't look like she has aged in these years. She looks like how she was before her mom, Angie and her had to leave. And Kmart, she's never seen her look at her like that before. But then again this is a clone.
