This was written for one of my former stories which have been ditched due to a lack of motivation and ideas. The name was Chernobog: Strife, "A bunch of Elite Ops are sent to make way for the main forces and scout in Chernobog."

It was connected to the original ending of Survival.

The group of 8 class operators rested their feet in one of R.I's massive corridors.

Specialist was well, specialist. He tip-toed and danced around the metal floor, causing slight inconvenience for the others. The boy drew his sword swiftly and reticently, "hallucinating" that there's a bunch of Reunion soldiers in front. He slashed the air multiple times, sometimes ducking, sometimes jumping. His red hair also made him a bit, "special".

Caster sat on a bunch of crates with her trusty staff. In her other hand was a mop. Every tool needs a bit of cleaning. The staff has been with her since she joined Rhodes Island, losing it would be losing a best friend. Alongside her was Medic, also her best friend. They get along quite well, others in the group jokingly ship them together as a married couple, but they're just friends.

Defender, Guard, Supporter and Vanguard were all grouped up into a circle discussing what happened in Lungmen just a few hours ago. The four of them were sent on different missions. Defender, Vanguard and Caster to regain contact with the 5th battalion while the others were fighting on the frontline.

Vanguard slid his sword back into his sheath. He looked up to his friends discussing food in Lungmen. It seems like all of them had forgotten what happened there. His hood fell off revealing the silver silk hair that everyone admired.

"Hey, Defender." Vanguard tried to join in the conversation of "菠蘿包" (Probably one of Hong Kong's most iconic food.)

"Mhm?" The bulky, fully suited experienced operator responded with glee.

"The entire 5th battalion got wiped out, isn't it weird?" Vanguard couldn't resist asking, but ended up asking.

"I thought the 5th battalion was good, how did they end up being wiped out?" Supporter jumped into this topic. She scratched her head, "Did something happen?"

Guard, the one with the most common sense responded, "Definitely."

"One ended up going MIA, right?" 'Hulk' said back. Recalling to what Vanguard, he and Caster saw. "Yeah. Speaking of which, I heard some radio noise back then. It was like someone screaming YES at the top of their lungs." Vanguard felt anxious as if they left someone behind in Lungmen for others to take care of. Guard knew what he was thinking and came up with something.

"Don't worry V. They should be in good hands."

"Good hands as in dead?" Vanguard was not pleased with his theoretical answer.
