It's been 5 months now, and the Grand Prix final is coming up in a month. Victor has been training Yuri so much, so he's ready.
Hunter and Yuri are fine again. He apologised to Yuri and he forgave him. They've been spending more time together and becoming better friends.
It was 4 pm and the sun was shining, Victor and Yuri were just going out for dinner.
They reach the restaurant and are shown to their seats, and Victor pulls out Yuri's chair for him.
" Thank you, Victor. "
" No worries! "
They order their food, one of their favourite meals: mashed potatoes with gravy and chicken. They start eating and chatting with each other.
" So Yuri, how are you and Hunter doing? "
" Oh, we're great, we haven't had another repeat of what happened five months ago. "
" Oh good! Yurio wasn't too pleased with Hunter because of that. He was more angry than usual. I didn't think that was possible. "
They both laugh and smile at each other, and they finish their meals and decide to leave. Victor pays the bill, and they grab their coats and leave.
Victor calls his driver to pick them both up. The driver arrives and they get into the car, Victor holds the door open for Yuri, then gets in after him and closes the door behind himself.
They head back to Victor's place, where they both go inside and spend the rest of the day together. Yuri spends the night, and they both fall asleep watching a movie together, Yuri resting his head on Victor's chest, while he's got his arm wrapped around Yuri.

Time skip.
The month flies by, and the Grand Prix final is in a week. Nerves and tears are all over the place, Yuri is freaking out that he's going to fail, Victor is reassuring him that he's got this and to believe in himself, and Yurio is telling him to stop being a baby about it all. He manages to calm himself just enough to be able to talk without crying.
beep....
Yuri receives a text from Hunter,he opens the text and reads it.
" Hey, sorry to do this today, but I thought you should see this.
Attachment sent: "
It's a text message that has Victor's name at the top, and Yuri isn't sure who the other person is, but the text reads.
" Yuri won't succeed. He doubts himself too much. He'll fail. It's kind of why I'm probably going to leave him and why I kissed someone else. " Yuri's heart dropped. He didn't know what to think, Victor walked over to him and put one hand on his shoulder.
