Chapter 38: The Court Case pt.2

It was the second day and last day of the court case and so far it looks like it was 50/50 Jisoo wasn't happy with it especially when a news article come out talking about how Jisoo is horrible, all of her endorsements left her and she lost a lot of followers, but none of that matter, because she has a family that will do anything for her even when she's not blood-related to them and to, is honest that all Jisoo ever wanted a family that truly cared for her and will be there for when needed.

On the other end, Heechul is pissed off, his contract with Level Up is ending soon and he wasn't planning on staying because Chanyeol acquire the company, but ever since the video from the court case day was podcasted on live Tv, the company that gave him an offer called him the previous night to inform him that they will not proceed with him.

After receiving that news, he tried contacting any company he could think of but no one is willing to take him in, he tried to renew his current contract but they told him it was too late and they also told him they were never planning on keeping him anyway.

So Heechul has to win this case no matter what, because even though people hate Jisoo now because she stabbed Krystal and almost killed her, a lot of people at the same time empathize with her so, in the end, Heechul is the one on the point of losing everything.

He already has lost his children and granddaughter his career is the only thing left for him and he cannot lose it no matter what.

"The court will like to call the plaintiff to the stand" Jisoo was so nervous and she was shaking but, one look at Krystal and their daughter along with Taehyung was all it took for her to calm down because she knew that she wasn't alone her family was there to support her.

"Please state your name and occupation," said the bailiff

"My name is Kim Jisoo and I'm a model and an actress" Jisoo is shaking but she knew that she had to do this Heechul is a horrible person for abandoning his children and rapping her without remorse

"Please raise your right hand" Jisoo did has said, "Do you swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth?" The bailiff looked so scary and Jisoo was never tough she will go through this her entire life but here she was and the whole world was watching her.

"Yes, I swear to tell the whole truth" Jisoo was surprised that she sounded so confident.

"Ms. Kim, can you tell us what you were doing on the night of May 1st?"

"On the night of May first, I was at a nightclub with my cousin alongside her fiance and other friends from the entertainment industry, we were having fun and just catching up with each other

I needed a drink so I went to the bar, by surprise Mr. Kim Heechul who happened to be my boyfriend's biological father was there

We exchange a few words but it did not last long since my cousin who goes by the name of Kim Jennie had called me so we can leave the club since it was getting late

I decided to stay and went back to the bar for more alcohol" Jisoo was shaking because May 1st, 2022 was the worst day of her life, and at the same time the best day of her life because Chaehyung came into the world.

"Ms. Kim did you notice any signs of heat that night" Jisoo's lawyer knows that Heechul's lawyer is vicious and will try her best to prove that Jisoo is a lier that why she asking simple questions

"No, I did not, I'm on supplements, therefore, I cannot go into heat" Jisoo knew there was something wrong the moment she woke up and she wished to be proven wrong but all she received was disappointment one after the other.
