Chapter 42: Turning Point

The first episode of Meet the Kims aired on May 1st, 2022, the three decided to air the show that day because it was Chaehyung's first birthday and they want people to see Jisoo in a new light.

Chaehyung's birthday was the perfect opportunity for that because everything between the three went wrong that day and they wanted to make sure that the day is full of good memories to replace all the bad ones.

For Chaehyung's birthday, they decided to celebrate with their family by having a family dinner, and afterward, they will watch the first episode of the show since it going to premiere at 9 pm.

All three of them are not great cooks, don't get them wrong even though they have a nanny for Chaehyung due to their busy schedule the three always make sure that at least one of them is home at night to make dinner and tuck their daughter to sleep

Lately, since Jisoo's trial, she's the one who has been staying at home, and the nanny does not come that often to take care of Chaehyung

The three are rich enough to get maids but they decided against it, instead, they have people come every week to deep clean the home, since the house is big.

During the day the three of them spend time with their daughter and gave her a lot of toys, even though Chaehyung won't remember this they wanted to make sure she has everything and anything

"Jisoo, you and Taehyung need to work hard I'm sure Chaechae wants a little brother or sister to play with".

After Chaehyung's birth, the doctor advised Krystal not to get pregnant again for at least 2 years since her body can't go through another pregnancy

just to be sure that she won't get pregnant, Krystal got the intrauterine system birth control, which lasts 5 years Krystal does not want to admit this to her partners but she doesn't want to go through another pregnancy

Even though Jisoo, Taehyung, and her family assured her that she was beautiful, she doesn't feel beautiful, ever since she got back to work she hasn't done a photo shoot with a crop top or swimsuit

Because she feels insecure about her body and she has been feeling this for a while

Her therapist told her to look at herself in the mirror but she hasn't been able to do it

She was never like this she used to love herself a little too much but after the C-section and the long period when everyone hated her, she lost her confidence

She's trying to get it back, but she's cautious because aside from the C-section scar she also has a few visible stretch marks, and her being in the model industry was tough since all the other models looked flawless.

"We are trying, I took a pregnancy test yesterday but it was negative, we will try on my next heat" Jisoo loves Chaehyung but as long as she can remember the always wanted a child of her own with Taehyung as a symbol of their love just like Krystal as Chaehyung

"babe, I told you we don't need to rush we just started trying, so of course the first test will be negative" Taehyung didn't want another child because to him Chaehyung is too young

And hey barely got the handle on being parents adding another child will be difficult, but Jisoo has been wanting a kid as long as he can remember and it is only fair for her to have one since Krystal has Chaehyung.

"I know but I'm just excited, it's like a dream come true"

"It's exciting, but the changes your body will go through are no joke" Krystal didn't want to ruin the mode but she knows that Jisoo is also a model and she knows the struggles of keeping your body in shape or the way you look might affect her job.
