Emily looked at herself in the mirror, she looked so pretty in this dress. She was just like any other teenager, it was rare for her to feel pretty about herself but the light blue of this dress complimented her skin and red hair. She looked at the box placed on the bed, it was her mother's necklace.
Her mother died 2 years ago at this point. There were moments when that moment would flash in front of Emily's eyes, the doctor's telling her that her mother passed away. She put on the necklace and suddenly all the memories with her memories came rushing back. She didn't have the best relation with her mother, she hardly even knew anything about her. She was always at her facility and rarely talked to her, Emily was much more closer to her dad than her.
The last straw camel only broke though when Emily told her mom that she wanted to be a musician. They both were not wrong honestly, no one would want their 17 year old in an industry where there is no chance of success or a stable life but Emily was talented, so full of talent for it that anyone who heard her music wouldn't not even doubt that she wouldn't succeeded.
She opened her door and took a deep breathe and smiled as she went to the steps, seeing her father discussing something with Liam, her boyfriend. Liam eye's fall onto Emily as she walks down elegantly like a princess and her father's gaze followed soon. "Hey...." she said smiling at them. "Alyssa would be so proud of you if she would've seen you like this" her father said as she hugged her. "Now I can firmly say I've met angels and they look gorgeous beyond compare" Liam said, kissing her cheeks as she blushed a little rosy pink before they all took a seat in the living room, Emily's 21'st birthday cake was on the table too.
It was a chocolate cake, decorated beautifully with light purple frosting- her favourite colour with chocolate shavings and in bold white icing was written 'Happy 21st Birthday Emily!'. "Make a wish" Liam said to which Emily nodded, taking her guitar in her hands and thought of her wish to be the best in the music industry and opened her eyes and blew the candles.
She did not know what was coming\
As soon as she did that, a hole appeared in the ground and Emily with her guitar fell through it. Faint screams of Liam and her dad could be heard, they got fainter and fainter until she couldn't hear them and she landed down. She didn't open her eyes but whatever she landed on was soggy, it was wet and mushy. Loud Hum buzzing around her made her think for a while that she had somehow landed into the world's largest beehive but as she opened her eyes, she knew she couldn't have been more wrong.
