You moved wires around carefully, showing the separate or same wires' powering either endo of this soon-to-be Daycare Attendant. There were a pair of arms welded to the endo, he wasn't sure how to use them.
"So it's just an endo and parts of Number 4? Whoa, and you said your degree was nothing but a frame on the wall." Loren started patting your back.
You'll both admit though, this endo, having no real purpose at the moment, was very clumsy. It was weird because the endos downstairs weren't like that at all. They were only sensitive to sight and would freeze in place. This one, it seemed fascinated by everything and itself. "Okay, I just need to put the silicone cover on you. Will you let me do that?" you asked looking up at the robot. He looked weirdly happy, you really couldn't tell because of his lack of face. He nodded and sat still. You giggled and caringly placed every silicone piece on him. "This will protect your wiring. It's flimsy and very thin so be careful. Your metal casing won't be here for a few months. And your voice chip is with it." you mumbled to yourself. "Why would their voice box be with their metal casing?" Loren obviously hearing you.
You rested your face on your fist and sighed. "The voice I need that will fit his endo is custom made. The Pizzaplex doesn't make them or provide them. It's not like the Glamrocks."
The Glamrocks have voice boxes with adjusted audio from the old animatronics. In your opinion, the upgrade was better.
"Hope you're okay looking like that, hon. It's gonna be a while." Loren said crossing her arms. You nudge her in the arm and rolled your eyes. "Okay, is your battery full?" you asked.
It nodded.
"Good, let's move you over to the cylinder thing so I can put your chips in." grumbled your tired voice. You didn't mean to sound rude or annoyed but damn were you tired. Some part of you was fighting to stay awake while the rest of you wanted to fall over and sleep, you honestly didn't care where you fell.
You yawned and stretched as Loren helped you under the animatronic's head after you told it to lay down. "So... why do you still have the brace on? Shouldn't your leg be healed by now?" she asked looking over at the unmoving robot. "Turns out, that wreck made my leg unfixable. Doc said I'm not ever going to walk normal again. I'll be using a crutch and wheelchair for the rest of my life."
After putting in the second chip the robot flinched and its eyes glitched and rolled. You clicked it in place and the robot stopped moving. Loren pulled you out and you looked up at the endo-skeleton. He looked at you and waved energetically. You chuckled and waved back.
"So, I'm gonna assume that is the daytime attendant." He had his hands placed on his hips. He looked at himself and then to you. "What's he doing?" Loren asked. He pointed at your shirt then his torso. "Oh, clothes! He wants clothes, (Y\N)." Loren ran off to the costume room. It didn't have any clothes that were for animatronics but it would have to work.
You yawned and looked at your phone. Half past six. You rubbed sleep from your eyes and stretched. You were noticeably not all there. "Okay, let's see if I can get the other chip to work. This shouldn't hurt him," you said muttering the last part. Loren came back holding a white t-shirt and long black pants. "It's all I could- what the?"
You turned the lights out.
The sound of soft banging metal was heard and you quickly ran over to your creation. Please, you couldn't have broken it. This is the farthest you've gotten. "No no no, shit are you okay?" You asked panicked. It was hunched over and holding its head. It trembled as the silicone shook before it leaned on you almost like it was exhausted. You hadn't built the endo to handle that much stress.
You sighed patted its arm causing it to flinch and looked up at you. Unlike the Daytime Attendant, who had blue eyes, this one had red eyes. It looked at you curiously crawling up above you and titling it's head.
