Hope had been cuddled up in Lizzie's bed. It was a Saturday meaning no classes, meaning Hope would be able to sleep all day. Unless someone came to bother her, which someone did.

A light knock could be heard from outside of the twin's room "Come in!" Hope scoffed as she began to sit up in bed. "Hey, Hope." Josie waved as she spoke. "Hi." Hope said getting out of Lizzie's bed. "My dad needs you in his office," Josie said tucking a strand of her hair behind her hair.

"If this is about me not going to my classes I'm gonna start going back, I just needed the week off." Hope said frowning. "No, don't worry I already talked to my dad about that, he said he understands. It's about something else." Josie told the Mikaelson with a serious look. Hope had a confused look on her face as she followed Josie out of the room.

Josie opened the doors to her father's office. Lizzie took in a sharp breath as she saw Hope. The Mikaelson's face dropped from a small smile to a straight face. "What is this Josie? W-Who are you?" Hope questioned, her voice sounding raspy. "Is this some sick joke? 'Cause, it's not very funny." Hope laughed nervously. She and Lizzie made eye contact, Lizzie gave the tribrid a small smile before walking up to her. "Hope, it's me," Lizzie informed Hope, her voice cracking a little.

Hope didn't want to believe anything Lizzie was saying but she did, she believed that it was her.  Hope wanted to hug the blonde so badly but didn't. Lizzie walked towards Hope with open arms "No, don't touch me." Hope said pushing Lizzie and shaking her head, tears began to flow out of her eyes again. "Hope-" "No! Don't even speak!" Hope's eyes turned a bright yellow.

"I mourned you!" Hope's voice broke, she pushed Lizzie again "I cried for days! I stayed in bed for weeks because of your death! And now your just-" Hope opened her mouth to say something but nothing came out, "You turned, didn't you?" Hope said raspily. "You didn't trust me." Hope scoffed. Lizzie shook her head.

"Hope, I needed to-" Hope pushed Lizzie a third time. "You don't get to talk." Hope's eye twitched. "Our relationship was built on trust, trust that is now broken just because I slipt up." It was at that moment, that Lizzie Saltzman realized Hope wasn't mad at her, she was mad at herself. "No! Hope, of course, I trust you! I always will, but I didn't trust myself, I thought I would slip up on the spell even though we had practiced, I don't trust myself one bit Hope. It's not you, It's me, it's always been me."

Hope and Lizzie were now staring at each other, both with frowns on their faces. "I'm sorry." A tear fell from Lizzie's face.

Hope didn't say anything, she just turned around and walked out of the room. Lizzie was now trying to hold back tears, once Hope had left the room completely Lizzie held her face in her hands as she was now full-on sobbing.
