{England's POV}

The darkness faded, slowly, much too slow for my liking. The crippling darkness turned into colour, greens and reds and yellows. And blue. The blue was the only colour I was interested in, so familiar and safe. Like his eyes, the exact same blue. Soon enough I was able to the outline of the room, it was medium sized and there was a door at far side. I walked towards the door carefully, the colours leading me.

When I reached the door I carefully gripped the handle, turning it and pushing the door open.

Light, too white, too blinding. A deafening noise in my ears, words, whispering and shouting all at once. Voices I recognised, America. Scotland. The sounds coming out of their mouths were a huge jumble, but I knew it was them. I could hear them, I just couldn't see them.

And, I realised that everything was going back to normal, the bright light was dying down, my vision slowly returning, and after what felt like a lifetime, I saw the people that I loved.
That loved me.
