Truth or Dare

Applejack's POV:

I arrive at Pinkie Pie's house the next day, and ring the doorbell. "Let me guess... Applejack?" Pinkie says from inside. I blink, surprised. She opens the door and giggles. "How in the flyin' fruit bats did you figure that out?" I ask incredulously. "Just a hunch!" Pinkie says, giggling again. I shrug and follow her inside. "Hey A.J." Sunset says, waving. I wave back and look for a spot to set up my sleeping bag. Ding-Dong! Pinkie Pie races off to the door again. "Applejack...! There's some space there if you want!" Fluttershy says quietly, pointing to the corner of the room. "Thanks!" I respond, walking over. As I'm setting up my sleeping bag, I see Rarity from the corner of my eye. After the bag is set up, I wave to her. "Rarity, over here!" She sees me and excitedly makes her way over. "Thanks for saving me a spot, Applejack!" She says, her face glowing happily. I blush and am about to say something when Pinkie Pie interrupts. "We're all here now... WHAT ARE WE DOING FIRST??? I plan to pack this night FULL of activities! I've got board games and video games or we could play truth or dare, ooh and we can order pizza if we're hungry! Or maybe we could make smores, or cupcakes, or popcorn if we want to watch a movie or-" Rainbow Dash puts a finger over Pinkie's mouth. "I think we get the point." Twilight grabs a board game from Pinkie Pie's shelf and says "actually, I'm in the mood to play some games!" Fluttershy nods. "That one does look fun!" "GREAT!" Pinkie yells, grabbing it from Twilight's hands. We all scootch into a circle as Pinkie dumps out the box. "Okay, everyone gets a marker and one of these teeny notebooks!" She throws one at each of us. Fluttershy flinches when she sees it coming towards her face, but luckily Rainbow Dash catches it. We all take a marker from the center and start the game. "Applejack, what even is this?" Sunset asks, giggling. I laugh and respond "just wait until you see Rainbow's drawings!" "Hey!" Rainbow snaps. We all laugh together.

Rarity's POV:

After a few more games, we decide to play truth or dare. We're all ready to start when we hear something. Ding-Dong! "OHHH!!!" Pinkie exclaims, jumping up. "Hahaha, I forgot about our PIZZA!!! Let's go!" She races off to answer the door, Rainbow Dash right behind. Just a few seconds later, they return with three big boxes. The smell of fresh, cheesy pizza wafts towards me and my mouth starts to water. "This smells absolutely scrumptious, Pinkie!" Applejack nods vigorously. "Well, dig in!" Pinkie says, opening the boxes. All of us take a slice and melt into pure blissfulness. "This is amazing!" Sunset says, taking another bite. "Seriously amazing..." Twilight says, already almost finished with her slice. I take another bite and swallow before saying "thank you so much for this, Pinkie!" She grins widely and responds "you are (takes another bite) welcome!" I finish my slice and take another. "So, we're still playing truth or dare, right?" Rainbow asks. Pinkie nods, and Rainbow starts looking around the circle. "Fluttershy... Truth or dare?" She asks, shoving the rest of the pizza into her mouth. "Oh! I- Uh- Truth?" Fluttershy stutters, running her fingers through her hair. Rainbow Dash thinks for a second and then asks "what's the weirdest thing one of your pets have stolen?" Fluttershy scratches her chin. "Well, I was taking care of Winona for Applejack but I looked away for a second. That's when she managed to grab my hairpin and hide them in the birdseed! It took me a full week to find out where it went, hehe!" "Oh, I'm mighty sorry Fluttershy! I never knew she did that!" Fluttershy giggles and says "oh, it was fine! Winona only did it by accident!" Fluttershy turns to Twilight. "Anyway, my turn! Twilight, truth or dare?" Twilight thinks for a second and says "dare!" Fluttershy smirks and says "okay, then I want you to text Timber Spruce this link." She holds up her phone to show Twilight, who looks at the link, confused. "What exactly is that?" Fluttershy giggles to herself. "I'll tell you after you send it to him~" Twilight shrugs and types it in. "Sent!" We all look over at the phone to see Timber's response. When Twilight reads his response, she gasps! "Fluttershy, I just RICKROLLED HIM???" We all burst out laughing. "Your turn, Twilight!" Fluttershy says, wiping a tear from her eye. Twilight, still annoyed, looks around the circle. "Pinkie Pie. Truth or dare?" Pinkie jumps and doesn't even have to think before yelling "DARE!!!" Twilight pushes up her glasses, anime style. "I want you to make an impression of everyone here." Pinkie squeals, and gives herself a tired-sounding voice. "Five more minutes Princess Celestia... I don't wanna go to magic school..." All of us snicker except Sunset Shimmer, who flushes. Pinkie prepares her next impression. "It needs to be about 20% cooler." Rainbow grins. "Spot on, Pinkie." Pinkie smiles and inhales deeply. "Yay." Fluttershy scratches her head. "That sounds like me, but when did I say that?" Pinkie stops for a second. "Uh- Nevermind, next impression!!!" She pretends to adjust glasses that aren't there before saying "Technically, sapphires aren't just blue. Heh-heh. They can be pink, purple, yellow..." Twilight laughs, and asks "Pinkie, why did you choose that one? How do you even remember that?" Pinkie does a little twirl, saying "that's when you and Timber met! Cute, wasn't it?" Twilight blushes slightly as Pinkie prepares the next impression. "All this time I thought I was bein' honest with you about not likin' Vignette. I-I wasn't bein' honest with myself. I felt like I was losin' my best friend." Applejack stares at Pinkie, seriously confused. "How'd you even hear that?" Pinkie smirks and says "I hear everything, A.J.~" Applejack covers her bright red face with her hat. "Just do the last impression, Pinkie." Pinkie clears her throat and says "Of course, darling. Now, WHAT are you wearing??? Purple and burgundy?" Pinkie does a surprisingly good impression of one of my screams. We all laugh! "Wow, Pinkie! Those were amazing." "Thanks Twilight! And now... My turn." Pinkie sits down and looks around at us intensely. Suddenly, she turns to stare at me. "Hehehe, Rarity?" I shudder. All of us have learned by now that Pinkie gives out the craziest dares. "Truth or dare?" I decide to go with the safe option. "Truth." Pinkie glares at me. "Wrong answer, pick again." I cross my arms. "Hey, that's not fair! I chose truth and that's it." Pinkie's glare turns into a expression of sadness. I sigh and say "fine, dare." Pinkie grins widely. "Great! I dare you..." I prepare myself. "To kiss the most attractive person in the room." The room goes silent. "Uh Rarity, you really don't-" Fluttershy is cut off as I put my hand up. "I agreed to this..." I get up and turn to Applejack as everyone in the room stares. "Applejack..." She looks up at me, cheeks starting to glow red. "Could you move, you're blocking the mirror." Everyone groans. Pinkie fumes, yelling "RARITY!!! Way to ruin the moment!" I scoff but then realize everyone is agreeing with Pinkie. "Eheh... Okay, I guess it doesn't count." I take Applejack's hand, and she blushes even redder as I kiss it. "Good enough, Pinkie?" Pinkie's eyes light up. "Very!" I quickly sit back down, trying not to make eye contact with Applejack, who I know must be embarrassed. Quickly, I say "Sunset! Your turn." She thinks. "Truth. I'm staying safe." I tap my chin in thought before asking. "What is your most embarrassing childhood memory?" Sunset hides her face. "Oh, It is SO bad... Back when I was a pony, I was a bit impulsive and tried to climb on the roof to get my ball. I fell right into a buckball hoop! It took hours until they found me, and even longer to get me out!" Sunset laughs. "Girls, since we're all done with the pizza, why don't we finish truth or dare and paint each other's nails! Ooh, and while they dry, we could watch a movie!" I exclaim, grabbing my makeup bag. "Sounds fun!" Twilight exclaims, clapping. "I agree!" "Sure." "YES, THIS WILL BE SO FUN!!!"
