When Tubbo excitedly emerged from a small car in front of them, Ranboo beamed wider than he thought he could even manage. He was so happy to finally be meeting his best friend in real life! He immediately squeaked as he flapped his hands up and down, running over to Tubbo.

Despite Ranboo's mask, anyone who looked could tell he was clearly smiling. His eyes scrunched up and you could see his elevated cheeks underneath the mask. Alex was discreetly recording their hug, since Tubbo'd asked him to.

He lugged both boy's suitcases to Tubbo's car, puzzling them around in the trunk, or boot, and grabbing the rest of their things. It took three short trips, but he didnt mind. It was worth it to let the duo share this precious moment without interruption.

Ranboo was swaying left and right as he hugged Tubbo tightly, crying softly into the shorter's hoodie.

"Are these happy tears, Bossman?" Tubbo asked quietly.

"Yes, yes! I- you're right here, I can... I can hug you, I'm so happy!" Ranboo blabbered back.

Tubbo smiled and rubbed small circles on Ranboo's back, simply waiting for him to be ready to let go. Tubbo didnt like hugs, but he'd found that it was different with certain people. With Ranboo, it was actually nice, and he enjoyed the much taller boy's arms around him.

"I'm glad that you're happy, dude. We do have to go, though. Wilbur is waiting for us in the car!" Tubbo enthused.

Ranboo nodded and unlatched his arms. The interaction was entirely platonic, but that didnt mean he wanted to let go of Tubbo. Ranboo had a big thing with pressure; he enjoyed it and it calmed him alot. He despised soft touches, though.

Ranboo tumbled into the right side of the backseat, and his demeanor changed almost instantly. He shifted uncomfortably in the seat: The foreign feeling of the leather pricking at his skin. He stopped Wilbur from driving off and quickly got out, laying his varsity jacket on the seat and sitting down atop of that, instead. Once they started driving again, he listened silently as Tubbo, Quackity, and Wilbur made excited conversation and welcoming Introductions. Ranboo squeezed Bossman, his Ranboo sit, tightly for comfort.

Tubbo kept twisting his head around the front seat to see Ranboo and pointing out absolutely random things like trees or different buildings, asking if Ranboo had ever seen it before. If Ranboo was honest, he appreciated Tubbo's energy, but he was still very overwhelmed from the busy day and new surroundings.

"Tubbo, I'm sorry- I cant- I cant hold out a conversation right now. I'm overwhelmed." He said with an apologetic tone.

"Oh, alright! You're good, Ranboo." Tubbo smiled. "Thanks for letting me know."

Ranboo nodded and turned to look out the window, donning his headphones once again and basking in the silence.

Wilbur turned down the radio and spoke up.

"Ranboo, do you want me to tell you what we have planned for today?" He asked softly, hearing earlier that he was overwhelmed.

Ranboo heard the shift in the volume of the muffled rock music, and pulled of his headphones off one ear as Wilbur began speaking.

He nodded.

"Okay. So, were gonna get Quackity to his Air B&B and then we'll get to ours. We've got time to unpack and relax for a bit, but George said if it's possible Dream would like to have everyone for dinner at a restaurant. He insisted that 'everyone have a good meal from their packed day' and it would 'be his treat'. If that's not something you can handle today, that's okay. Nobody will force you to do anything you don't want."
